...ANOTHER ROUND OF SNOWFALL TONIGHT AND EARLY FRIDAY FOR THE
CENTRAL AND NORTHERN PLATEAU...

AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL DIVE SOUTHEASTWARD TONIGHT AND
BRING A GOOD CHANCE OF SNOW ACROSS THE NORTHEASTERN PORTION OF THE
MID STATE. THE SNOWFALL SHOULD BEGIN AFTER MIDNIGHT AND CONTINUE
INTO FRIDAY. AREAS ALONG THE CENTRAL AND NORTHERN PLATEAU COULD
SEE BETWEEN ONE HALF AND ONE INCH OF SNOW ACCUMULATION.
ELSEWHERE...AMOUNTS OF LESS THAN A HALF INCH COULD EXTEND AS FAR
WEST AS INTERSTATE 24. THE SNOW MAY MIX WITH SOME RAINSHOWER
ACTIVITY IN THE AFTERNOON BEFORE ENDING BY EVENING.

MOTORISTS SHOULD TAKE NOTE THAT GROUND SFC TEMPERATURES ARE ON THE
COLD SIDE AND ANY SNOWFALL THAT OCCURS WILL ACCUMULATE RATHER
QUICKLY. IF ENCOUNTERING SNOW COVERED ROADS WHEN TRAVELLING...SLOW
DOWN AND ALLOW EXTRA TIME TO REACH YOUR DESTINATION. HAZARDOUS
ROAD CONDITIONS ARE LIKELY TO DEVELOP BY LATE TONIGHT ACROSS THE
PLATEAU.

TENNESSEE.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL TRACK ACROSS THE NORTHEAST PORTION
OF THE MID STATE LATE TONIGHT. THIS COULD BRING SNOW TO AREAS NEAR
THE KENTUCKY BORDER AND EAST OF I-65 AND NORTH OF I-40. ANY LIGHT
ACCUMULATIONS WILL LIKELY OCCUR AFTER DAWN.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

SNOW SHOWERS MAY LINGER THROUGH MIDDAY FRIDAY WITH TOTAL SNOWFALL
ACCUMULATIONS UP TO ONE INCH FOR AREAS NEAREST THE KENTUCKY
BORDER.

THERE IS THE POTENTIAL OF ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL ACROSS THE MID STATE
SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT AS A COUPLE OF STORM SYSTEMS
TRACK ACROSS THE REGION.

SNOWFALL REPORTS RELAYED TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE
IN NASHVILLE MAY BE NEEDED LATE TONIGHT THROUGH MIDDAY
FRIDAY...AND ESPECIALLY SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT.
