THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR WESTERN SOUTH DAKOTA AND
NORTHEASTERN WYOMING.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

A STORM SYSTEM WILL CROSS THE REGION SUNDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
MONDAY. COOLER TEMPERATURES WILL ACCOMPANY THIS SYSTEM...ALONG WITH
SOME RAIN CHANGING TO SNOW. LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS ARE POSSIBLE
OVER PORTIONS OF THE PLAINS SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY. UPSLOPE SNOWFALL
WILL DEVELOP ACROSS THE NORTHERN BLACK HILLS SUNDAY NIGHT AND
CONTINUE THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT. SEVERAL INCHES OR MORE OF SNOWFALL IS
LIKELY OVER THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF THE NORTHERN BLACK HILLS...
ESPECIALLY FROM THE FOUR CORNERS AREA TO CHEYENNE CROSSING AND TERRY
PEAK.

STRONG NORTHWESTERLY WINDS ARE ALSO EXPECTED ON MONDAY AS
A TIGHT PRESSURE GRADIENT DEVELOPS OVER THE REGION. THE STRONGEST
WINDS ARE EXPECTED OVER THE NORTHWEST AND WEST CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA
PLAINS...WHERE WINDS WILL GUST TO OVER 50 MPH DURING THE DAY.
