THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PUERTO RICO AND THE ADJACENT
ATLANTIC COASTAL WATERS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

.THUNDERSTORMS...THERE IS A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY
RAINFALL AND BRIEF GUSTY WINDS THIS AFTERNOON ACROSS MOST OF THE
THE REGIONAL WATERS AND PORTIONS OF WESTERN PUERTO RICO THIS
AFTERNOON.

.FLOODING...HEAVY RAINS COULD LEAD TO URBAN AND SMALL STREAM
FLOODING IN PORTIONS OF THE WEST AND NORTHWEST PUERTO RICO.

.WIND...SUSTAINED WINDS IN EXCESS OF 20 MPH (17 KNOTS) POSSIBLE
ACROSS THE LOCAL WATERS.

.WAVES...SEAS UP TO 5 FEET EXPECTED ACROSS THE LOCAL ATLANTIC WATERS.

.RIP CURRENTS...THERE IS A MODERATE RISK OF RIP CURRENTS MAINLY
ACROSS NORTHERN PUERTO RICO AND SOME COASTAL AREAS OF SOUTHEAST
AND SOUTHWEST PUERTO RICO INCLUDING CULEBRA AND VIEQUES.

.HEAT...HEAT INDEX OF 100-105 DEGREES ARE POSSIBLE IN THE COASTAL
AREAS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

UNSTABLE CONDITIONS WILL LIKELY RETURN TO THE ISLANDS THURSDAY AS
AN UPPER LEVEL TROUGH WILL RELOCATE OVER THE REGION. THIS WILL
ENHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS LATE IN THE WEEK. THEN...
ANOTHER TROPICAL WAVE IS FORECAST TO REACH THE LOCAL REGION
DURING THE WEEKEND. THEREFORE...MOIST AND UNSTABLE PATTERN WILL
BE LIKELY THE SECOND PART OF THE WEEK.
