THE NEARSHORE AND OFF SHORE ATLANTIC AND CARIBBEAN COASTAL WATERS-

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PUERTO RICO AND THE ADJACENT
ATLANTIC COASTAL WATERS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

SCATTERED SHOWERS WITH THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON
OVER THE NORTHERN HALF OF PUERTO RICO. VERY HEAVY RAIN...GUSTY
WINDS AND FREQUENT LIGHTING IS EXPECTED. URBAN AND SMALL STREAM
FLOODING ARE LIKELY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

A WEAK TROPICAL WAVE WILL WILL CAUSE AN INCREASE IN AREAL
COVERAGE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS...MAINLY LATE ON MONDAY
AND CONTINUING TUESDAY FOR PUERTO RICO.

A NORTHERLY SWELL IS EXPECTED BEGINNING ON MONDAY WHICH WILL
INCREASE THE RISK OF RIP CURRENTS ALONG THE NORTHERN FACING
COASTLINES.
