...Forecast flooding increased from Moderate to Major severity...

The Flood Warning continues for
  the Coquille River at Coquille.
  * At  7:30 PM PST Sunday the stage was 22.1 feet.
* Flood Stage is 21.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is forecast to crest at 25.98 feet around
  5 AM PST Monday morning.
* Impact...At 25.0 feet...Some homes are flooded along and near the
  Coquille River. Roads are flooded in spots in low-lying areas near
  the Coquille River.
* Impact...At 27.0 feet...severe flooding in valley. extensive damge
  to many farms, homes, and roads. No flooding of downtown parts of
  Myrtle Point and Coquille.
* Flood History...This crest forecast 26 foot crest compares to a
  previous crest of 24.3 feet on Apr 1 2012. on january 18, 1971
  the river crested at 25.4 feet.

Do not drive through flooded areas or roads. The water may be too
deep to allow for safe passage or there may be unseen damage to the
roadway. Use alternate routes and stay away from riverbanks.

  the South Fork Coquille River at Myrtle Point.

* At  4:15 PM Sunday the stage was 36.8 feet.
* Flood Stage is 33.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to crest at 37.11 feet around 5
  pm pst this evening. Volumn for this crest is forecast to be 36450
  cubic feet per second.
* Impact...At 37.0 feet...Extensive road and farmland flooding
  upstream and downstream of Myrtle Point can be expected. Some
  residents of low-lying areas in the vicinity of Myrtle Point may be
  threatened.
* Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 35.3 feet
  on Nov 21 2012. On january 20 2012 the river crested at 37.04 feet.

  the North Fork Coquille River near Myrtle Point.
* At  3:45 PM Sunday the stage was 37.1 feet.
* Flood Stage is 35.0 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is forecast to crest at 37.13 feet around 10
  pm pst this evening. volumn for this crest is forecast to be 33830
  cubic feet per second.
* Impact...At 37.0 feet...Expect significant flooding along the North
  Fork Coquille River and its tributaries. Significant agricultural
  flooding can be expected from the Gravelford area to the confluence
  with the South Fork Coquille River. Log jams are possible above the
  Copper Bridge which will have greater impacts on this situation
  should they occur.
* Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 35.8 feet
  on Jan 20 2012.

THE FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES FOR

* A PORTION OF SOUTHWEST OREGON...INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING
  AREAS...CURRY COUNTY COAST AND SOUTH CENTRAL OREGON COAST.

* UNTIL 10 PM PST THIS EVENING

* HEAVY RAINFALL IS CAUSING RAPID RISES ON AREA STREAMS...CREEKS
  AND RIVERS. THERE IS ALSO THE POTENTIAL FOR URBAN FLOODING IN
  AREAS OF POOR DRAINAGE AND DUE TO PONDING OF WATER ON
  ROADWAYS.

* HEAVY RAINFALL MAY ALSO CAUSE HIGH WATER...MUDSLIDES...
  ROCK SLIDES AND DEBRIS FLOWS ON AREA ROADWAYS...INCLUDING US
  101...HIGHWAY 42...AND HIGHWAY 38.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

LANDSLIDES AND DEBRIS FLOWS ARE POSSIBLE DURING THIS FLOOD EVENT.
PEOPLE...STRUCTURES AND ROADS LOCATED BELOW STEEP SLOPES...IN
CANYONS AND NEAR THE MOUTHS OF CANYONS MAY BE A SERIOUS RISK FROM
RAPIDLY MOVING LANDSLIDES. A FLOOD WATCH MEANS THERE IS A
POTENTIAL FOR FLOODING BASED ON CURRENT FORECASTS.

YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE ALERT FOR POSSIBLE
FLOOD WARNINGS. THOSE LIVING IN AREAS PRONE TO FLOODING SHOULD BE
PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION SHOULD FLOODING DEVELOP.
