ON SOME RIVERS. A FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT...ALTHOUGH THE
MAIN CONCERN FOR HEAVY RAIN WILL BE THIS WEEKEND.

THUNDERSTORMS WILL OCCUR OVER PARTS OF OKLAHOMA AND NORTH TEXAS
TODAY. THEY ARE NOT EXPECTED TO BE SEVERE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...

.FLOODING...
HEAVY RAIN IS EXPECTED ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. SERIOUS...LIFE
THREATENING...FLOODING IS EXPECTED TO RESULT ACROSS PARTS OF
OKLAHOMA AND NORTH TEXAS. SOME RIVERS AND STREAMS ARE LIKELY TO
BEGIN TO RISE AGAIN OVER THE WEEKEND AND EARLY NEXT WEEK. SOME
LAKES IN CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA WILL LIKELY BE WELL INTO
THEIR FLOOD POOLS. ANYONE THAT HAS PLANS FOR LAKE ACTIVITIES
SHOULD CHECK ON THE LATEST CONDITIONS AND HAZARDS.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT THROUGH MONDAY MORNING.

DEEPER THAN THEY APPEAR. JUST ONE FOOT OF FLOWING WATER IS POWERFUL
ENOUGH TO SWEEP VEHICLES OFF THE ROAD. WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED
ROADS MAKE THE SMART CHOICE...TURN AROUND...DONT DROWN.

* At  2:00 AM Friday the stage was 14.2 feet.

* Minor flooding is occurring.

* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.

* Forecast...The North Fork Red River has crested and will continue
  to fall. The North Fork Red River will fall below flood stage early
  Friday morning.
