INDIANA...SOUTHEAST INDIANA...CENTRAL OHIO...MIAMI VALLEY OF OHIO
AND SOUTHWEST OHIO.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

PLEASE LISTEN TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO OR GO TO WEATHER.GOV ON THE
INTERNET FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE FOLLOWING HAZARDS.

   FLASH FLOOD WATCH.

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO SPREAD INTO THE REGION
LATE TONIGHT. LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN MAY OCCUR WHICH COULD CAUSE
FLASH FLOODING. ADDITIONALLY...THERE IS A POSSIBILITY THAT A FEW
OF THESE THUNDERTORMS COULD REACH SEVERE LIMITS...CAUSING DAMAGING
WINDS AND LARGE HAIL.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

* UNTIL 815 AM EDT.

* AT 514 AM EDT...RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN
  PUSHING INTO SOUTHWEST OHIO. RAINFALL RATES OF UP TO AN INCH AND A
  HALF OF RAIN IN LESS THAN AN HOUR IS POSSIBLE...WITH SOME
  LOCATIONS POSSIBLY ACCUMULATING UP TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN THROUGH 730
  AM.

* MINOR FLOODING OF LOW LYING AND POORLY DRAINED STREETS...HIGHWAYS
  AND UNDERPASSES WILL OCCUR. IN ADDITION...FARMLAND NEAR CREEKS...
  STREAMS AND DRAINAGE DITCHES WILL EXPERIENCE MINOR FLOODING.

* FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF INDIANA AND OHIO...INCLUDING
  THE FOLLOWING AREAS...IN INDIANA...DEARBORN...FAYETTE IN...
  FRANKLIN IN...RIPLEY...UNION IN AND WAYNE. IN OHIO...BUTLER...
  CLARK...CLINTON...FAYETTE OH...FRANKLIN OH...GREENE...
  HAMILTON...MADISON...MONTGOMERY...PICKAWAY...PREBLE AND
  WARREN.

* THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON

* AN ADVANCING COLD FRONT WILL BRING THE POTENTIAL FOR HEAVY RAIN
  THROUGH THIS MORNING AND INTO THE AFTERNOON HOURS. THERE IS
  POTENTIAL FOR LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN AS WELL AS POSSIBLE TRAINING OF
  THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE SAME AREA FOR SEVERAL HOURS. HEAVY RAIN
  IS POSSIBLE OVER AREAS WHICH HAVE RECEIVED FROM 2 TO NEARLY 5
  INCHES OF RAIN OVER THE PAST TWO DAYS...WITH SOIL CONDITIONS
  NEARLY SATURATED IN SOME AREAS.

* THE ARRIVAL OF THE HEAVY RAIN DURING THE MORNING COMMUTE WILL
  POTENTIALLY CREATE HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS IN AREAS OF
  HEAVY RAIN.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT FLOODING OF SMALL STREAMS, CREEKS
AND OTHER DRAINAGE AREAS IS POSSIBLE WITHIN THE WATCH AREA.
PEOPLE IN THE WATCH AREA SHOULD KEEP AN EYE ON THE WEATHER AND BE
PREPARED FOR IMMEDIATE ACTION SHOULD HEAVY RAINS AND FLOODING
OCCUR OR A FLASH FLOOD WARNING BE ISSUED.
