* TIDAL DEPARTURES...1 1/2 TO 2 1/2 FEET ABOVE ASTRONOMICAL
  TIDES.

* TIMING...MINOR COASTAL FLOODING IS EXPECTED WITH THIS MORNINGS
  HIGH TIDE CYCLES. ADDITIONAL MINOR COASTAL FLOODING IS POSSIBLE
  FOR TONIGHTS HIGH TIDE CYCLE.

* BEACH IMPACTS...ELEVATED WATER LEVELS AND LARGE BREAKING WAVES
  WILL LIKELY RESULT IN AREAS OF DUNE TOE EROSION AND LOCALIZED
  OVERWASHES FOR THE ATLANTIC OCEAN BEACHES. BEACH EROSION ALSO
  POSSIBLE ALONG THE NORTH FACING SHORELINES ADJACENT TO
  GARDINERS BAYS.

* COASTAL FLOOD IMPACTS...MINOR FLOODING OF THE MOST VULNERABLE
  SHORE ROADS AND/OR PROPERTIES DUE TO HEIGHT OF STORM TIDE OR
  WAVE SPLASHOVER ALONG TIDALLY AFFECTED PORTIONS OF THE PECONIC
  RIVER AND ALONG THE BAYS. MAJORITY OF ROADS REMAIN PASSABLE.
  THERE IS NO SIGNIFICANT THREAT TO LIFE AND ANY IMPACT ON
  PROPERTY IS MINIMAL.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A HIGH SURF ADVISORY MEANS THAT HIGH SURF WILL AFFECT BEACHES IN
THE ADVISORY AREA...PRODUCING RIP CURRENTS AND LOCALIZED BEACH
EROSION.

A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY INDICATES THAT ONSHORE WINDS AND TIDES
WILL COMBINE TO GENERATE FLOODING OF LOW AREAS ALONG THE SHORE.
