NIGHT WHICH WILL SIGNIFICANTLY IMPACT HOLIDAY TRAVEL...

.A COASTAL STORM WILL BRING HEAVY SNOW TO MUCH OF NORTHEAST
PENNSYLVANIA AND THE WESTERN CATSKILLS FROM DAYBREAK WEDNESDAY
THROUGH THE DAY. FARTHER NORTH AND WEST, LESS SNOW IS EXPECTED.
THE SNOW IS EXPECTED TO TAPER DOWN TO SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS LATE
WEDNESDAY NIGHT. THIS STORM WILL SIGNIFICANTLY IMPACT HOLIDAY
TRAVEL ON WEDNESDAY AND WEDNESDAY NIGHT IN NORTHEAST PENNSYLVANIA
AND MUCH OF CENTRAL NEW YORK ESPECIALLY SOUTH AND EAST OF A UTICA

* LOCATIONS...BRADFORD COUNTY PENNSYLVANIA AND TIOGA, BROOME, CHENANGO
  AND OTSEGO COUNTIES IN NEW YORK

* HAZARDS...SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL.

* ACCUMULATIONS...3 TO 6 INCHES OF SNOW. THE HEAVIEST SNOW WILL
  FALL OVER THE HIGHER TERRAIN WITH LESS SNOW IN THE VALLEYS.

* TIMING...SNOW BEGINS AROUND 8 AM WEDNESDAY MORNING AND CONTINUES
  THROUGH THE DAYLIGHT HOURS WEDNESDAY AND TAPERS OFF WEDNESDAY
  NIGHT TO SNOW SHOWERS.

* TEMPERATURES...IN THE UPPER 20S TO LOWER 30S IN THE VALLEYS.

* WINDS...NORTH 5 TO 10 MPH.

* IMPACTS...SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY ROADS MAKING FOR HAZARDOUS
  HOLIDAY TRAVEL WEDNESDAY AND WEDNESDAY NIGHT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW
WILL CAUSE PRIMARILY TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW
COVERED ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE
DRIVING.
