SNOWFALL RATES OF ONE-HALF TO ONE INCH AN HOUR. MOTORISTS SHOULD BE

SIGNIFICANTLY IMPACT HOLIDAY TRAVEL...

.A COASTAL STORM WILL BRING HEAVY SNOW TO MUCH OF NORTHEAST
PENNSYLVANIA AND THE WESTERN CATSKILLS FROM DAYBREAK INTO THE
EVENING. FARTHER NORTH AND WEST... LESS SNOW IS EXPECTED. THE
SNOW IS EXPECTED TO TAPER DOWN TO SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS LATE
TONIGHT. THIS STORM WILL SIGNIFICANTLY IMPACT HOLIDAY TRAVEL TODAY
AND TONIGHT IN NORTHEAST PENNSYLVANIA AND MUCH OF CENTRAL NEW YORK
ESPECIALLY SOUTH AND EAST OF A UTICA TO WAVERLY LINE.

  DAYLIGHT HOURS BEFORE TAPERING OFF TONIGHT TO SNOW SHOWERS.

* TEMPERATURES...IN THE UPPER 20S.

* WINDS...NORTH 5 TO 10 MPH.

* IMPACTS...SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY ROADS MAKING FOR HAZARDOUS
  HOLIDAY TRAVEL TODAY AND TONIGHT.
