.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

A POWERFUL STORM SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO IMPACT CENTRAL NEW YORK
AND NORTHEAST PENNSYLVANIA DURING THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK. A
WINTRY MIX WILL CHANGE TO A WIDESPREAD RAIN IN CENTRAL NEW YORK
AND NORTHEAST PENNSYLVANIA FROM TUESDAY INTO WEDNESDAY...WITH
STRONG WINDS AND SNOW SHOWERS DEVELOPING AS COLDER AIR SPREADS
INTO THE REGION LATER WEDNESDAY AND ESPECIALLY ON CHRISTMAS DAY.

THE SNOW SHOWERS AND WIND ASSOCIATED WITH THE STORM MAY DISRUPT
HOLIDAY TRAVEL. PAY ATTENTION TO LATER FORECASTS AS THERE IS
STILL PLENTY OF UNCERTAINTY CONCERNING THE STRENGTH AND TRACK OF

WEATHER ADVISORY FOR FREEZING DRIZZLE...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST
FRIDAY.

* LOCATIONS...PORTIONS OF CENTRAL NEW YORK AND THE NORTHERN TIER
  OF PENNSYLVANIA, ESPECIALLY IN THE HIGHER TERRAIN.

* HAZARDS...FREEZING DRIZZLE.

* ACCUMULATIONS....A FEW HUNDREDTHS OF AN INCH OF ICE TONIGHT.

* TIMING...THROUGH EARLY FRIDAY MORNING.

* TEMPERATURES...FALLING INTO THE MID 20S.

* WINDS...NORTHWEST AROUND 10 MPH.

* IMPACTS...FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL RESULT IN SLICK SPOTS ON
  UNTREATED SURFACES, ESPECIALLY ROADWAYS AND SIDEWALKS. THIS WILL
  CREATE HAZARDOUS TRAVEL THROUGH THE MORNING HOURS.
