CONTINUE DRIFTING NORTHEAST ACROSS SOUTHERN AND CENTRAL NEW MEXICO...
GENERALLY AND SOUTH OF A QUEMADO TO BERNARDO TO CORONA TO FORT
SUMNER LINE. RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL AVERAGE ONE QUARTER INCH. SHOWERS
AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE FORECAST TO INCREASE LATER THIS AFTERNOON AND
WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AND FLASH
FLOODING.

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTH AND CENTRAL
NEW MEXICO.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TODAY THROUGH THE
OVERNIGHT SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 40 AND OVER THE NORTHERN MOUNTAINS.
ISOLATED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS FOR THE NORTHWEST AND NORTHEAST.
STORM MOTIONS WILL BE SLOW AND RAINFALL COULD BECOME HEAVY. THIS
MAY LEAD TO LOCALIZED AREAS OF FLASH FLOODING... ESPECIALLY OVER
THE WHITEWATER BALDY BURN SCAR COMPLEX AND THE LITTLE BEAR BURN
SCAR. ISOLATED LOCATIONS WILL RECEIVE 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAINFALL.
A FEW STORMS MAY ALSO PRODUCE SMALL HAIL AND WIND GUSTS TO 50 MPH.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED WEDNESDAY THROUGH
FRIDAY ACROSS MOST OF NORTHERN AND CENTRAL NEW MEXICO. RAINFALL
COULD BECOME HEAVY WITH THE REMNANTS OF ODILE IMPACTING THE STATE.
THIS MAY LEAD TO LOCALIZED AREAS OF FLASH FLOODING... ESPECIALLY
OVER AND NEAR RECENT AND OLDER BURN SCARS. ISOLATED LOCATIONS WILL
RECEIVE 2 TO 4 INCHES OF RAINFALL WITH UP TO 6 INCHES NOT OUT OF
THE QUESTION FROM WEDNESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY. THE MOST LIKELY AREA
TO SEE THIS MUCH RAIN WILL BE OVER THE UPPER GILA REGION OF THE
SOUTHWEST MOUNTAINS...INCLUDING THE WHITEWATER BALDY BURN SCAR
COMPLEX...FOLLOWED BY THE LITTLE BEAR BURN SCAR AREA. A FEW STORMS
MAY ALSO PRODUCE SMALL HAIL AND WIND GUSTS TO 50 MPH.
