...LINGERING SNOW AND HAZARDOUS ROAD CONDITIONS FOR EASTERN NEW
MEXICO INTO TONIGHT...

.AN UPPER LEVEL TROUGH WILL CONTINUE TO INTERACT WITH A POTENT
COLD FRONT TO PRODUCE SOME MORE SNOW INTO TONIGHT. RATHER STRONG
AND GUSTY NORTH AND NORTHEAST WINDS BEHIND THE FRONT WILL CREATE
BLOWING SNOW ALONG THE TEXAS BORDER THROUGH THIS EVENING.
ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL FAVOR AREAS ALONG THE EAST SLOPES FROM
ANGEL FIRE SOUTH TO CLINES CORNERS...CORONA...AND EASTERN LINCOLN
COUNTY INTO CHAVES AND ROOSEVELT COUNTIES. WHILE ADDITIONAL SNOW
AMOUNTS WILL BE MOSTLY LIGHT...BITTERLY COLD TEMPERATURES...BLOWING
SNOW AND FREEZING FOG WILL RESULT IN HAZARDOUS TRAVEL OVER THE
REGION.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL
MIDNIGHT MST TONIGHT.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...AROUND ANOTHER 1 INCH BELOW 7500 FEET AND
  1 TO 3 INCHES ABOVE 7500 FEET.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THIS EVENING BEFORE DIMINISHING
  BY MIDNIGHT.

* WINDS...NO WIDESPREAD SIGNIFICANT WINDS ARE EXPECTED.

* SNOW LEVELS...TEMPERATURES WILL BE COLD ENOUGH FOR SNOW AT ALL
  LOCATIONS.

* LOCAL IMPACTS...DIFFICULT TRAVEL CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE DUE
  TO SNOW PACKED AND ICY ROADS. VISIBILITIES WILL BE REDUCED IN
  SNOW. THIS INCLUDES INTERSTATE 25 FROM WATROUS TO RATON PASS.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW

ACCUMULATIONS WILL FAVOR AREAS ALONG THE EASTERN SLOPES OF THE
CENTRAL MOUNTAIN CHAIN FROM ANGEL FIRE SOUTH THROUGH TORRANCE...
GUADALUPE...AND LINCOLN COUNTIES.
