THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTH AND CENTRAL
NEW MEXICO.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING WILL FAVOR THE SOUTHWEST
MOUNTAINS AND THE CENTRAL MOUNTAIN CHAIN EASTWARD. A FEW STRONG TO
SEVERE STORMS ARE POSSIBLE IN THE NORTHEAST PLAINS WHERE A
BACKDOOR COLD FRONT IS FORECAST TO MOVE IN. HAIL AND STRONG WIND
GUSTS ARE THE MAIN THREAT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

A STRONG BACKDOOR COLD FRONT WILL NOT ONLY BRING IN ADDITIONAL
LOW LEVEL MOISTURE TO THE REGION BUT IT WILL ACT AS A TRIGGER TO
GET NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS...SOME STRONG...GOING WEDNESDAY AND
WEDNESDAY NIGHT. HIGH MOISTURE LEVELS WILL LEAD TO AN INCREASED
POTENTIAL FOR FLASH FLOODING WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING. THE
ACTIVE WEATHER PATTERN WILL CONTINUE THURSDAY THROUGH NEXT
WEEKEND.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION IS NOT ANTICIPATED.
