NEW MEXICO.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

STRONG TO DAMAGING WINDS ARE LIKELY FOR MUCH OF NORTHERN AND
CENTRAL NEW MEXICO THROUGH THE EARLY EVENING HOURS. THE STRONGEST
WINDS ARE EXPECTED ALONG IN JUST EAST OF THE CENTRAL MOUNTAIN
CHAIN WHERE GUSTS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH ARE LIKELY. ELSEWHERE...
GUSTS NEAR 50 MPH ARE POSSIBLE. ADDITIONALLY...MUCH COLDER
TEMPERATURES WILL RETURN AND SNOW MAY DEVELOP ACROSS THE NORTHERN
MOUNTAINS. THE COMBINATION OF SNOW AND STRONG WINDS MAY CREATE
AREAS OF BLOWING SNOW AND REDUCED VISIBILITIES. ADDITIONALLY...
BLOWING DUST MAY IMPACT PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST NEW MEXICO AS THE
BACK DOOR FRONT MOVES INTO THE AREA.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

BREEZY TO WINDY CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE ON MONDAY...REDUCING WIND
CHILLS INTO THE 20S AND 30S FOR MUCH OF CENTRAL AND WESTERN NEW
MEXICO DURING THE MID AFTERNOON HOURS.

BEFORE EXPANDING THROUGHOUT MUCH OF THE LOWER ELEVATIONS BY MID
DAY. DAMAGING WINDS MAY DEVELOP OVER THE PEAKS AND ALONG THE EAST
SLOPES OF THE CENTRAL MOUNTAIN CHAIN. MUCH COLDER TEMPERATURES
ARE ALSO FORECAST AS A COLD FRONT PLUNGES THROUGH THE STATE FROM
NORTHWEST TO SOUTHEAST. WIND CHILLS IN THE LOWER 20S TO LOWER 30S
