THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NM AND TX.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS LOWLANDS WITH
SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS STORMS MOUNTAINS. A FEW STORMS WILL PRODUCE
HEAVY RAINS AND FLASH FLOODING...ESPECIALLY AROUND LOW WATER
CROSSINGS AND POOR DRAINAGE AREAS. A FEW STORMS MAY ALSO PRODUCE
HAIL UP TO AN INCH IN DIAMETER AND WIND GUSTS TO 60 MPH.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

FOR FRIDAY THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON THERE WILL BE A SLIGHT CHANCE
FOR THUNDERSTORMS LOWER ELEVATIONS WITH SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS
HIGHER MOUNTAINS. MOST STORMS WILL OCCUR WEST OF DEMING AND NORTH OF
LAS CRUCES. VERY ISOLATED STORMS MAY PRODUCE UP TO AN INCH OF
RAINFALL AND WIND GUSTS TO 50 MPH.

SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BECOME
MORE WIDESPREAD WITH LOCALLY HEAVY RAINS CAUSING FLASH FLOODING
OVER VERY ISOLATED LOCATIONS.

.NOW...
AT 603 AM MDT...RAIN SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE CONTINUING TO
MOVE NORTHWEST THROUGH LUNA...DONA ANA...SIERRA...GRANT...AND EL
PASO COUNTIES. THE MAJORITY OF THE ACTIVITY WAS LOCATED NEAR
DEMING...NEW MEXICO. ONE- HALF TO ONE INCH OF ACCUMULATION CAN BE
EXPECTED WITH THESE STORMS ALONG WITH WIND GUSTS UP TO 35 MPH.
THESE STORMS ARE EXPECTED TO CONTINUE TO MOVE THROUGH THE AREA FOR
NEXT SEVERAL HOURS. MORE STORMS ARE FORECAST IN THIS AREA FOR THIS
AFTERNOON.
