MEXICO...SOUTHWEST TEXAS AND WEST TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE TODAY ACROSS THE LOWER TRANS
PECOS. A STORM OR TWO MAY BE MARGINALLY SEVERE WITH HAIL AND STRONG
GUSTY WINDS.

FIRE WEATHER CONCERNS INCREASE TODAY ACROSS SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO AND
THE GUADALUPE MOUNTAINS...THE FIRE DANGER WILL BE HIGH TO VERY
HIGH AND A RED FLAG WARNING IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM MDT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MIDLAND/ODESSA HAS ISSUED A RED
FLAG WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THIS MORNING TO 7 PM
MDT THIS EVENING. THE FIRE WEATHER WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

* WIND...WEST 15 TO 30 MPH.

* HUMIDITY...10 TO 15 PERCENT.

* IMPACTS...ANY FIRES THAT DEVELOP WILL HAVE POTENTIAL TO SPREAD
  RAPIDLY. OUTDOOR BURNING IS NOT RECOMMENDED.

* FIRE DANGER HIGH TO VERY HIGH.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

AVOID THE USE OF OPEN FLAMES OR ANY ACTIVITIES THAT MAY GENERATE
SPARKS. ACCIDENTAL IGNITIONS WILL HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO GROW
QUICKLY INTO WIND-DRIVEN WILDFIRES.
