THE WESTERN LOW ROLLING PLAINS...

.AN UPPER LEVEL STORM SYSTEM WILL PASS TO THE NORTH OF WEST TEXAS AND
SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO THURSDAY.  BREEZY WEST WINDS ROUNDING THE BASE OF
THIS STORM SYSTEM MAY MIX DOWN TO THE SURFACE AND...  COMBINED WITH
VERY DRY AIR AND HIGH TO VERY HIGH FIRE DANGER...RESULT IN

* WIND...MOUNTAINS....THURSDAY...WEST 20 TO 25 MPH INCREASING TO
  SOUTHWEST 30 TO 40 MPH IN THE AFTERNOON.  THURSDAY EVENING...WEST
  25 TO 40 MPH.  PLAINS...SOUTHWEST 20 TO 30 MPH.

* HUMIDITY...5 TO 10 PERCENT.

* IMPACTS...ANY FIRES THAT DEVELOP WILL LIKELY SPREAD RAPIDLY.
  OUTDOOR BURNING IS NOT RECOMMENDED.

WARM...DRY AND BREEZY CONDITIONS WILL LIKELY RESULT IN CRITICAL
FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS THURSDAY AND THURSDAY EVENING ACROSS THE
GUADALUPE MOUNTAINS...SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO PLAINS....AND ADJACENT
AREAS OF WEST TEXAS.   A FIRE WEATHER WATCH IS IN EFFECT.

STRONG WINDS ARE EXPECTED IN THE GUADALUPE MOUNTAINS ON THURSDAY.  A
HIGH WIND WATCH IS IN EFFECT.
