FOR THE GUADALUPE MOUNTAINS AND SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO PLAINS DUE TO
EXPECTED HOT...DRY AND WINDY CONDITIONS...AND VERY HIGH FIRE
DANGER...

.CRITICAL CONDITIONS WILL PERSIST IN THE GUADALUPE MOUNTAINS AND
SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO PLAINS INTO THIS EVENING.  AFTER SOUTHWEST
WINDS SUBSIDE, OVERNIGHT RECOVERY WILL BE POOR.  MORE HOT, DRY
AND WINDY CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY IN THE
AFTERNOON AND EVENING IN THE GUADALUPES AND SE NM PLAINS. SINCE
FIRE DANGER WILL BE VERY HIGH IN THESE AREAS, A RED FLAG WARNING
IS IN EFFECT WEDNESDAY, AND A FIRE WEATHER WATCH IS IN EFFECT
THURSDAY. THE HAINES INDEX WILL BE 5 OR 6 BOTH DAYS WHILE RAIN
CHANCES WILL BE NEGLIGIBLE.

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST NEW
MEXICO...SOUTHWEST TEXAS AND WESTERN TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE OVER THE WESTERN LOW ROLLING
PLAINS THIS AFTERNOON.  STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING HAIL,
STRONG WINDS AND BRIEF HEAVY RAIN.

HOT, DRY AND WINDY CONDITIONS IN THE GUADALUPE MOUNTAINS AND
SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO PLAINS WILL KEEP CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER
CONDITIONS GOING IN THOSE AREAS UNTIL SOUTHWEST WINDS SUBSIDE THIS
EVENING.  A RED FLAG WARNING IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM MDT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

THERE WILL BE A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON
OVER THE BIG BEND AND LOWER TRANS PECOS, AND A CHANCE OF
THUNDERSTORMS WEDNESDAY NIGHT GENERALLY ALONG AND SOUTH OF
INTERSTATE 10.  ON THURSDAY, THE DRYLINE WILL BECOME ACTIVE AGAIN
WITH A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS ALONG AND EAST OF A BIG SPRING TO
MIDLAND TO FORT STOCKTON TO BIG BEND LINE.  SOME OF THESE STORMS
COULD BE SEVERE WITH LARGE HAIL, DAMAGING WINDS, HEAVY RAINFALL AND
FREQUENT LIGHTNING STRIKES.

CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL OCCUR EACH AFTERNOON THROUGH
THURSDAY ACROSS THE GUADALUPE MOUNTAINS AND SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO
PLAINS.  NEAR CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED OVER THE
UPPER TRANS PECOS AND NORTHWEST PERMIAN BASIN THESE DAYS TOO.

THE PROBABILITY FOR WIDESPREAD HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS LOW.
