THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL
NORTH DAKOTA...NORTHWEST NORTH DAKOTA...SOUTH CENTRAL NORTH
DAKOTA AND SOUTHEAST NORTH DAKOTA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

A FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON. SHOWERS AND
SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO BECOME MORE WIDESPREAD
TODAY AND CONTINUE THROUGH SUNDAY. HEAVY RAIN IS LIKELY...AND THIS
COULD LEAD TO OVERLAND FLOODING AND QUICK RISES IN SMALL STREAMS.
THIS IS ESPECIALLY TRUE OF AREAS THAT EXPERIENCED SEVERAL INCHES
OF RAINFALL IN THE LAST WEEK.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE TODAY INTO TONIGHT ACROSS
PORTIONS OF SOUTH CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA. THE MAIN THREATS ARE
WIND...HAIL...AND POSSIBLE TORNADOES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

HEAVY RAIN IS LIKELY THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING. THIS COULD LEAD TO
OVERLAND FLOODING AND QUICK RISES IN SMALL STREAMS. THIS IS

.A POTENT LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL PRODUCE MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN
SHOWERS AND SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS WESTERN AND CENTRAL
NORTH DAKOTA TODAY INTO SUNDAY. THE HEAVIEST PRECIPITATION WILL
OCCUR TODAY INTO TONIGHT...THEN END FROM SOUTH TO NORTH SUNDAY.
RAINFALL AMOUNTS BETWEEN 1 AND 3 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS MUCH
OF THE AREA...WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR EVEN HIGHER AMOUNTS.

RAINFALL OVER THE PAST WEEK HAS KEPT SOIL MOISTURE VERY HIGH
ACROSS WESTERN AND CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA. ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAIN
COULD LEAD TO OVERLAND FLOODING...AND FLOODING OF CREEKS...

FORECASTS AND BE ALERT FOR POSSIBLE FLOOD WARNINGS. THOSE LIVING
