CHRISTMAS TRAVEL...

SNOW IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP EARLY THIS MONDAY MORNING OVER
WESTERN NORTH DAKOTA AND SPREAD EASTWARD INTO CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA.
LIGHT FREEZING RAIN OR SLEET WILL BE POSSIBLE BEFORE THIS
CHANGEOVER TO ALL SNOW AT PLACES LIKE WILLISTON...MINOT...
KILLDEER...GLEN ULLIN AND ELGIN. TRAVEL MAY BE SLOWED DUE TO
SLIPPERY ROADS.

ALONG AND EAST OF HIGHWAY 83...AREAS OF FOG AND PATCHY FREEZING
DRIZZLE CAN BE EXPECTED TO CONTINUE EARLY THIS MORNING. PLACES
LIKE JAMESTOWN...RUGBY HARVEY...ROLLA AND LINTON WILL LIKELY SEE
SLIPPERY ROADS DUE TO THE PATCHY FREEZING DRIZZLE...OR FOG
DROPLETS THAT FREEZE ON ROADS AND WALKWAYS.

FOR LATER THIS MONDAY...SNOW IS EXPECTED ACROSS MUCH OF THE AREA.
THE GREATEST AMOUNTS...UP TO FOUR INCHES...WILL BE ACROSS THE
SOUTHWEST ON MONDAY...AND THE JAMES RIVER VALLEY MONDAY AND
TUESDAY. THOSE WITH TRAVEL PLANS SHOULD ALLOW EXTRA TIME TO REACH
THEIR DESTINATIONS. MUCH OF THE REGION OUTSIDE OF NORTH DAKOTA
WILL ALSO BE IMPACTED BY THIS STORM SYSTEM.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

AREAS OF FOG AND PATCHY LIGHT FREEZING DRIZZLE IS FORECAST ACROSS
PORTIONS OF CENTRAL AND EASTERN NORTH DAKOTA TONIGHT. VISIBILITIES
MAY DROP IN SOME AREAS TO BELOW ONE HALF OF A MILE...AND ROADWAYS
MAY BECOME SLICK.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

FOR MONDAY...SNOW WILL ENCOMPASS MUCH OF THE AREA. THE GREATEST
AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED TO BE ACROSS THE SOUTHWEST...AND THE JAMES
RIVER VALLEY. SNOW WILL DECREASE FROM WEST TO EAST THROUGH THE DAY
ON TUESDAY. THOSE WITH EARLY CHRISTMAS TRAVEL PLANS SHOULD ALLOW
EXTRA TIME TO REACH THEIR DESTINATIONS. MUCH OF THE REGION OUTSIDE
OF NORTH DAKOTA WILL ALSO BE IMPACTED BY THIS STORM SYSTEM
