.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

A STRONG WARM FRONT WILL MOVE ACROSS EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA SUNDAY
AFTERNOON AND EVENING PRODUCING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WITH
TORRENTIAL DOWNPOURS LEADING TO RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES
WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS EXPECTED. SOME OF THE THUNDERSTORMS
COULD BECOME SEVERE WITH DAMAGING WIND GUSTS AND ISOLATED
TORNADOES POSSIBLE.

A COLD FRONT IS FORECAST TO MOVE ACROSS EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA
EARLY MONDAY PRODUCING SCATTERED SHOWERS AND POSSIBLE STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS WITH A SMALL RISK OF A DAMAGING WIND GUST.

DEVELOPING LOW PRESSURE IS FORECAST TO MOVE JUST OFF OF THE COAST
WEDNESDAY AND PRODUCE WIDESPREAD MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINS WITH
ANOTHER 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAINFALL POSSIBLE.
