WEDNESDAY...

A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW REMAINS IN
EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM MST WEDNESDAY.

* TIMING AND MAIN IMPACT: SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW WILL SPREAD FROM
  THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN FRONT AND SOUTHWEST MONTANA INTO CENTRAL
  MONTANA THIS AFTERNOON. SNOW WILL CONTINUE INTO WEDNESDAY. MUCH
  OF THE SNOW AT LOWER ELEVATIONS WILL ACCUMULATE TUESDAY NIGHT.
  TRAVEL WILL BECOME DIFFICULT AT TIMES.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS: 8 TO 16 INCHES OF TOTAL ACCUMULATION ARE
  EXPECTED OVER MOUNTAINS WITH 4 TO 8 INCHES OF ACCUMULATION
  AT LOWER ELEVATIONS.

* WINDS AND VISIBILITY: FALLING SNOW AND GUSTY WINDS WILL
  CREATE AREAS OF BLOWING SNOW...WITH VISIBILITY LESS THAN ONE
  HALF MILE AT TIMES.

* LOCATIONS AFFECTED INCLUDE: CHOTEAU...WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS...
  BATTLE RIDGE PASS...BOZEMAN...BOZEMAN PASS...TARGHEE PASS...
  WEST YELLOWSTONE...STANFORD...LEWISTOWN...LEWISTOWN DIVIDE...
   BROWNING...MARIAS PASS...CUT BANK...TOWNSEND...GREAT
