...LIGHT SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW POSSIBLE LATE SUNDAY INTO MONDAY...

MUCH COLDER AIR WILL FILTER INTO THE REGION ON SUNDAY...WITH SNOW
SHOWERS OVERSPREADING THE REGION BY SUNDAY EVENING. NORTHERLY WINDS
WILL INCREASE BY SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND SUNDAY EVENING...GUSTING TO
OVER 45 MPH AT TIMES INTO EARLY MONDAY. THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR
AN INCH OF SNOW IN THE NORTHERN VALLEY...PERHAPS UP TO 2 INCHES NEAR
THE CANADIAN BORDER. LESSER AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED FARTHER SOUTH. THE
MAIN CONCERN WILL BE BRIEF PERIODS OF SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCED
VISIBILITY IN HEAVIER SNOW SHOWERS. FOR AREAS THAT RECEIVE
ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL...BLOWING SNOW WILL RESULT IN AREAS OF REDUCED
VISIBILITY...ESPECIALLY IN OPEN AREAS.

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF EASTERN NORTH
DAKOTA...WEST CENTRAL AND NORTHWEST MINNESOTA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

AN ALBERTA CLIPPER WILL SPREAD SOME MIXED PRECIPITATION INTO
EASTERN NORTH DAKOTA AND WESTERN MINNESOTA BY LATE TONIGHT. THERE
COULD BE SOME LOCALIZED SLICK SPOTS WHERE FREEZING RAIN OR
FREEZING DRIZZLE OCCURS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

MUCH COLDER AIR WILL FILTER INTO THE REGION SUNDAY AFTERNOON...AND
LIGHT SNOW WILL OVERSPREAD THE NORTHERN RED RIVER VALLEY BY SUNDAY
EVENING. NORTHERLY WINDS WILL INCREASE BY SUNDAY NIGHT...GUSTING
OVER 45 MPH AT TIMES INTO EARLY MONDAY. THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR
AN INCH OF SNOW IN THE NORTHERN VALLEY...PERHAPS UP TO 2 INCHES
