...ISOLATED PATCHES OF MIXED LIGHT FREEZING RAIN...SNOW AND SLEET
TO AFFECT THE REGION THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT...

A SERIES OF DIFFUSE AND FAST MOVING UPPER LEVEL SYSTEMS WILL
PRODUCE AREAS OF VERY LIGHT MIXED PRECIPITATION THROUGH THIS
FRIDAY EVENING AND OVERNIGHT. WHILE VERY LITTLE OF THIS WINTRY
MIX IS FORECAST TO ACCUMULATE...SIDEWALKS AND OTHER SURFACES ARE
BELOW FREEZING DUE TO THE RECENT COLD WEATHER.

THEREFORE ANY WINTRY MIXTURE THAT FALLS MAY RESULT IN SOME
SLIPPERY SPOTS. THIS WILL BE ESPECIALLY TRUE ON LESSER TRAVELED
WALKWAYS...SIDE ROADS AND THE LIKE.

A SLOW MOVING WARM FRONT WILL GRADUALLY SHIFT THE FOCUS FROM THE
SOUTHERN RED RIVER VALLEY INTO THE NORTHERN RED RIVER VALLEY THIS
EVENING AND OVERNIGHT. BY THE LATE OVERNIGHT INTO SATURDAY
MORNING THE BEST RISK FOR THIS WINTRY MIX WILL GENERALLY BE ALONG
AND NORTH OF THE HIGHWAY 200 CORRIDOR.

AS IS ALWAYS THE CASE DURING THIS HOLIDAY SEASON CHECK AHEAD FOR
THE LATEST FORECAST AND TRAVEL CONDITIONS BEFORE SETTING OUT.
