THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EAST CENTRAL MAINE...NORTH
CENTRAL MAINE...NORTHERN MAINE...SOUTHEAST MAINE AND WEST CENTRAL
MAINE.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

LOW PRESSURE SYSTEMS INTENSIFYING OFF THE MID ATLANTIC COAST ON
FRIDAY NIGHT AND SATURDAY IS EXPECTED TO MOVE NORTHEAST TO JUST
EAST OF NOVA SCOTIA SATURDAY NIGHT AND AGAIN ON SUNDAY. IF THIS
TRACK FOR BOTH LOWS HOLD...IMPACT FROM THESE SYSTEMS WILL BE
MOSTLY LIMITED TO SOUTHEAST PORTIONS OF THE REGION. IF THE LOWS
TRACKS FURTHER WEST TOWARD NOVA SCOTIA...THE POTENTIAL FOR
SIGNIFICANT TO HEAVY SNOWFALL WILL INCREASE FOR A GREATER PORTION
OF THE REGION SATURDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY SUN EVENING...BUT THIS
MORE WESTERN TRACK HAS NOT BEEN FAVORED AS MUCH BY THE LAST FEW
MODEL RUNS. PLEASE MONITOR THE LATEST FORECASTS OVER THE NEXT
COUPLE OF DAYS FOR CURRENT TRENDS WITH THIS SYSTEM AND THE
POSSIBILITY OF ANY WINTER STORM WATCHES FOR LATER THIS WEEKEND
OVER MOSTLY SOUTHEAST PORTIONS OF THE REGION.
