THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TAUNTON HAS ISSUED A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY...
WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO 1 AM EDT FRIDAY.

* LOCATION...THE EASTERN MASSACHUSETTS COASTLINE FROM SALISBURY TO
  ROCKPORT ON CAPE ANN.

* COASTAL FLOODING...POCKETS OF MINOR COASTAL FLOODING ARE LIKELY
  FOR THE MOST VULNERABLE SHORE ROADS AND BASEMENTS DUE TO THE
  HEIGHT OF THE STORM TIDE AND WAVE SPLASHOVER.

* TIMING...9 PM THIS EVENING TO 1 AM EDT FRIDAY OR WITHIN A COUPLE OF HOURS OF
  THE HIGH TIDE. POCKETS OF MINOR COASTAL FLOODING ARE POSSIBLE AGAIN DURING
  THE FRIDAY LATE EVENING HIGH TIDE.

* IMPACTS...THE MAJORITY OF ROADS WILL REMAIN PASSABLE WITH ONLY ISOLATED
  CLOSURES. SOME FLOODING OF BASEMENTS IS POSSIBLE IN THE MOST VULNERABLE
  LOCATIONS. THERE IS NO SIGNIFICANT THREAT TO LIFE...AND IMPACT ON PROPERTY
  SHOULD BE MINIMAL.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY IS ISSUED FOR MINOR COASTAL FLOODING OF THE MOST
VULNERABLE SHORE ROADS AND/OR BASEMENTS DUE TO THE HEIGHT OF STORM TIDE OR WAVE
SPLASHOVER. THE MAJORITY OF ROADS REMAIN PASSABLE WITH ONLY ISOLATED CLOSURES.
THERE IS NO SIGNIFICANT THREAT TO LIFE...AND IMPACT ON PROPERTY IS MINIMAL.
