.A LONG FETCH OF STRONG AND GUSTY SOUTHEASTERLY WINDS WILL
CONTINUE TO PRODUCE ELEVATED WATER LEVELS ALONG THE COAST AND ON
COASTAL WATERWAYS...ESPECIALLY DURING TIMES OF HIGH TIDE. TIDES
WILL RUN 1.5 TO 2.0 FEET ABOVE PREDICTED LEVELS.

FLOOD ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT SATURDAY.

* COASTAL FLOODING...TIDE LEVELS WILL RANGE BETWEEN 3.0 AND 4.0
  MLLW.

* TIMING...THROUGH SATURDAY.

* IMPACTS...MINOR FLOODING WITH WATER IN LOW SPOTS ON AREA ROADS
  NEAR SABINE PASS...CAMERON...HACKBERRY...INTRACOASTAL CITY...
  DELCAMBRE...CYPREMORT POINT...FRANKLIN...AND MORGAN CITY.

  MINOR FLOODING WITH WATER ACROSS ROADS NEAR SABINE
  LAKE...CALCASIEU LAKE AND ALONG THE LOWER CALCASIEU RIVER SOUTH
  OF THE SALTWATER BARRIER.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY INDICATES THAT ONSHORE WINDS AND TIDES
WILL COMBINE TO GENERATE FLOODING OF LOW AREAS ALONG THE SHORE.

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL
LOUISIANA...SOUTH CENTRAL LOUISIANA...SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA...WEST
CENTRAL LOUISIANA AND SOUTHEAST TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A COMPLEX OF STORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP OVER CENTRAL TEXAS AND
MOVE INTO SOUTHEAST TEXAS AND EXTREME WESTERN LOUISIANA TONIGHT.
THESE THUNDERSTORMS WILL PRODUCE HEAVY RAINFALL...FREQUENT CLOUD
TO GROUND LIGHTNING...AND STRONG GUSTY WINDS. THERE IS A MARGINAL
RISK FOR SEVERE STORMS...FOR THAT AREA...AND A MODERATE RISK FOR
EXCESSIVE RAINFALL.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

A SLOW MOVING STORM SYSTEM WILL CONTINUE TO BRING A HIGH CHANCE
FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS INTO EARLY SUNDAY FOR THE ENTIRE
AREA. THESE STORMS WILL PRODUCE HEAVY RAINFALL...FREQUENT CLOUD TO
GROUND LIGHTNING...AND STRONG GUSTY WINDS. THE FORECAST AREA WILL
BE IN A MARGINAL TO SLIGHT RISK FOR SEVERE STORMS...AND A SLIGHT
RISK FOR EXCESSIVE RAINFALL.

ANOTHER UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL BRING HIGH RAIN CHANCES FOR
MONDAY INTO TUESDAY. SOME HEAVY RAINFALL WILL AGAIN BE POSSIBLE.

  Tuesday morning.
* Impact...At stages near 4.0 feet...Minor flooding of Goos Ferry
  Road will occur.

* At  6:00 PM Thursday the stage was 3.8 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 4.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will fluctuate around flood stage through
  Saturday afternoon.
* Impact...At stages near 4.0 feet...Minor marshland flooding
  occurs. Flooding also begins on River Road in north Lake Charles.
