The Flood Warning continues for
  The Sabine River Near Deweyville.
* until further notice...or until the warning is cancelled.
* At  9:45 AM Monday the stage was 24.8 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 25.3 feet by
  Wednesday early afternoon then begin falling.
* Impact...At stages near 25.0 feet...Lowest roads beside the river
  flood around Deweyville and subject to being closed. In addition,
  low-lying roads in Southwest Beauregard Parish are flooded
  including Robert Clark Road. Flooding occurs on the south side of
  Niblett Bluff Park with access roads to camp houses cut off around
  the park. Access roads to the river in Northeastern Orange County
  become flooded.

  The West Fork Of The Calcasieu River At Sam Houston Jones State
  Park.
* from this evening until further notice...or until the warning is
  cancelled.
* At  7:00 AM Monday the stage was 4.7 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 5.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage by this evening
  and continue to rise to near 5.6 feet by Wednesday morning.
* Impact...At stages near 5.0 feet...Low spots on South Perkins
  Ferry Road have water on it. Water is over some boat docks on South
  Perkins Ferry Road and over boat ramps at Sam Houston Jones State
  Park. Extensive marshland flooding will occur upstream and
  downstream from the park.

* Minor flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 4.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 6.5 feet by
  early Tuesday afternoon then begin falling.
* Impact...At stages near 7.0 feet...Lower end of Pickrel Lane near
  the river begins to flood. Goos Ferry Road is impassable.
* Impact...At stages near 6.0 feet...Goos Ferry Road becomes
  impassable.

* At  8:00 AM Monday the stage was 5.3 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 4.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 6.0 feet by
  Tuesday morning then begin falling.
* Impact...At stages near 6.0 feet...Significant flooding of
  numerous recreational camps and homes will occur. River Road and
  much of Mims Road are impassable.
* Impact...At stages near 5.5 feet...Access roads including River
  Road in North Lake Charles and Mims Road in Westlake become
  impassable to some vehicles.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT
SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED. STORMS
WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINFALL...LEADING TO A
HIGH LIKELIHOOD OF FLASH FLOODING. IN ADDITION...STORMS WILL ALSO
BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WIND GUSTS...LARGE HAIL AND
FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING.

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT THROUGH 9 AM THIS
MORNING. A FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT THROUGH 7 PM THIS
EVENING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY
RAIN CHANCES WILL DIMINISH BY TUESDAY. DRY WEATHER IS EXPECTED TO
PREVAIL THROUGH THE REMAINDER OF THE PERIOD AND NO HAZARDOUS

...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS EVENING...

.FIVE TO 10 INCHES OF RAINFALL HAVE FALLEN ACROSS PARTS OF THE
AREA THE PAST COUPLE OF DAYS. THE GROUND HAS BECOME SATURATED WITH
WATER PONDING IN LOW AREAS AND FILLING DRAINAGE DITCHES.

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE DEVELOPING THIS MORNING AND WILL
CONTINUE TO INCREASE ACROSS THE AREA TODAY...WITH HEAVY RAINFALL
AND VERY HIGH RAIN RATES AGAIN EXPECTED. FLASH FLOODING WILL OCCUR
QUICKLY IN AREAS WHERE HEAVY RAINFALL DEVELOPS.
