THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST
LOUISIANA...SOUTH MISSISSIPPI AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

A DENSE FOG ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM TONIGHT THROUGH EARLY
MONDAY MORNING FOR COASTAL MISSISSIPPI AND THE COASTAL AREAS OF
SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA...INCLUDING THOSE AREAS AROUND LAKE
PONTCHARTRAIN. AREAS OF DENSE FOG WILL DEVELOP OVERNIGHT REDUCING
THE VISIBILITY TO 1/4 MILE OR LESS AT TIMES.

A DENSE FOG ADVISORY IS ALSO IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING
THROUGH EARLY MONDAY MORNING FOR THE NEAR COASTAL WATERS...SOUNDS
AND TIDAL LAKES. AREAS OF FOG WILL REDUCE THE VISIBILITY ACROSS
THESE AREAS TO LESS THAN 1 MILE AT TIMES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

AREAS OF DENSE FOG WILL AFFECT AREAS OF COASTAL MISSISSIPPI AND
COASTAL LOUISIANA AS WELL AS THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS...TIDAL
LAKES AND SOUNDS UNTIL THE MID MORNING HOURS MONDAY.

A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL BRING COLD AIR BACK TO THE AREA FOR THE END
OF THE WORK WEEK. SOME WINTER PRECIPITATION IS CURRENTLY FORECAST TO
OCCUR JUST NORTH OF THE AREA LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND THURSDAY.
THOSE WITH INTERESTS DURING THIS TIME FRAME SHOULD CLOSELY MONITOR
WEATHER CONDITIONS OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS.

SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY CONDITIONS WILL DEVELOP WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY
AND CONTINUE INTO FRIDAY AS STRONG OFFSHORE FLOW DEVELOPS AFTER THE
PASSAGE OF A COLD FRONT.

.ABUNDANT MOISTURE HAS SURGED INTO THE REGION. DEWPOINTS AT THE
SAME TEMPERATURE OR HIGHER THAN WATER TEMPERATURES WILL SET THE
STAGE FOR WIDESPREAD SEA FOG TO DEVELOP. DECREASED VISIBILITIES

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Forecast crests are based upon rainfall that has occurred along with
anticipated rain for the next 12 hours. Adjustments to the forecasts
will be made if additional heavy rainfall occurs.

Do not drive cars through flooded areas. Remember, two feet of
RUSHING WATER CAN CARRY AWAY MOST VEHICLES INCLUDING PICKUPS. TURN
AROUND AND DON`T DROWN.

* At 10:00 AM Sunday the stage was 19.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 20.0 feet by
  Tuesday evening then begin falling.
* Impact...At 20.0 feet...Woodlands and crop acreage along the river
  will be flooded. The Bogue Chitto Wildlife Management area will be
  inundated with water in recreational camps and over access roads.

  The Pearl River Near Pearl River.
* from Wednesday evening until further notice.
* At 10:00 AM Sunday the stage was 12.8 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by Wednesday evening and continue
  to rise to near 14.5 feet by Friday early afternoon.
* Impact...At 14.0 feet...Secondary roads to the river and throughout
  honey island swamp are inundated. Property in the vicinity of the
  gage is flooded threatening about 20 homes along the left bank
* Impact...At 13.0 feet...The east and west channels of the river will
  begin to merge. Honey Island Swamp Trails will be under water as
  inundation of the swamp begins
