THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN
ILLINOIS...SOUTHWESTERN INDIANA...WESTERN KENTUCKY AND
SOUTHEASTERN MISSOURI.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TODAY ACROSS THE
REGION. A FEW THUNDERSTORMS MAY BECOME STRONG TO SEVERE IN THE
AFTERNOON...WITH LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS THE PRIMARY CONCERNS.

THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL CONTINUE TONIGHT AS A COLD FRONT BEGINS
TO SINK SOUTHWARD INTO THE REGION. A STRONG STORM OR TWO CANNOT BE
RULED OUT.

HEAT INDICES ARE EXPECTED TO EXCEED 100 ACROSS THE REGION TODAY...AND
MAY PEAK AT 105 IN ISOLATED LOCATIONS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY WILL END FROM NORTH TO SOUTH DURING
THE DAY MONDAY. A STRONG STORM OR TWO CANNOT BE RULED OUT IN THE
AFTERNOON.

THERE IS A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS FRIDAY AND SATURDAY. A FEW
STRONG STORMS CANNOT BE RULED OUT.
