ILLINOIS...SOUTHWEST INDIANA...WESTERN KENTUCKY AND SOUTHEAST
MISSOURI.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE MOST NUMEROUS TODAY ACROSS
SOUTHEAST MISSOURI AND SOUTHERN ILLINOIS. A SMALL CHANCE OF
THUNDERSTORMS WILL LINGER OVER THE ENTIRE REGION THROUGH TONIGHT.
LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AND LIGHTNING WILL ACCOMPANY ANY
THUNDERSTORMS TODAY AND TONIGHT.

HEAT INDEX VALUES WILL TOP OUT NEAR 100 THIS AFTERNOON
OVER WEST KENTUCKY AND ADJACENT PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST MISSOURI AND
SOUTHERN ILLINOIS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

CHANCES OF THUNDERSTORMS ARE FORECAST DAILY WEDNESDAY THROUGH
SUNDAY. AT THIS TIME...THE BEST CHANCES ARE FORECAST WEDNESDAY
NIGHT INTO THURSDAY. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AND LIGHTNING WILL BE
THE PRIMARY CONCERNS THROUGH THE PERIOD.

HEAT INDEX VALUES MAY TOP OUT NEAR 100 AGAIN WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON
OVER THE SOUTHERN HALF OF THE REGION.
