...The flood warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana...
Kentucky...Illinois...Missouri...

  Ohio River at Owensboro...Newburgh Dam...Evansville...Mount Vernon
  ...J.T. Myers Dam...Shawneetown...Golconda...Paducah...Brookport
  Dam...Grand Chain Dam and Cairo.

.Water levels continue to slowly rise along several portions of the
lower Ohio River with minor to moderate flood conditions expected
through the weekend. Crests are expected by early next week, but
the expected rainfall over the weekend may change the timing and
crest levels.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

SAFETY MESSAGE...

Never drive cars...trucks or sport utility vehicles through flooded
areas. The water may be too deep to allow safe passage. Never allow
children to play in or near flood waters. Stay tuned to NOAA Weather
Radio or your local media for further statements and possible updated
forecasts.

  the Ohio River at Paducah
* until further notice.
* At  8:00 PM Friday the stage was 39.0 feet.
* Flood Stage is 39.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by after midnight tonight and
  continue to rise to near 39.4 feet by early Monday morning.
* Impact...At 39.0 Feet...Minor flooding occurs affecting mainly
  bottomland and surrounding low lying areas.

* At  8:00 PM Friday the stage was 42.4 feet.
* Flood Stage is 40.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will hold nearly steady before slowly falling
  to below flood stage by Friday morning...April 24.
