THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN
ILLINOIS...SOUTHWEST INDIANA...WESTERN KENTUCKY AND SOUTHEAST
MISSOURI.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE MAINLY ACROSS WEST
KENTUCKY TODAY, AND INTO WESTERN PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST MISSOURI
VERY LATE TONIGHT. SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED. BRIEF HEAVY
DOWNPOURS AND LIGHTNING WILL BE THE PRIMARY CONCERNS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

DAILY CHANCES OF THUNDERSTORMS ARE FORECAST SATURDAY THROUGH
THURSDAY. THE BEST CHANCES WILL BE SUNDAY AND MONDAY, WHEN A FEW
SEVERE STORMS WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE. AT THIS TIME, SUNDAY
AFTERNOON AND EVENING APPEAR TO HAVE THE BEST POTENTIAL FOR SEVERE
WEATHER. HEAVY RAINFALL AND FLOODING MAY ALSO BECOME A CONCERN,
AS 2 TO 4 INCHES OF RAINFALL ARE FORECAST FOR THE NORTHERN HALF OF
THE AREA FROM SATURDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

AS HIGH TEMPERATURES CLIMB BACK INTO THE 90S WEDNESDAY AND
THURSDAY, HEAT INDEX VALUES EACH AFTERNOON WILL CLIMB INTO THE 100
TO 105 RANGE OVER MUCH OF THE REGION.
