THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN
ILLINOIS...SOUTHWEST INDIANA...WESTERN KENTUCKY AND SOUTHEAST
MISSOURI.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON AND
EVENING. STORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP OVER SOUTHEAST MISSOURI
THIS AFTERNOON AND SPREAD EAST DURING THE EVENING HOURS. THE MAIN
THREAT WILL BE DAMAGING WINDS. HOWEVER SOME LARGE HAIL...ISOLATED
TORNADOES...AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL ARE ALSO POSSIBLE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

THUNDERSTORMS ARE IN THE FORECAST SUNDAY THROUGH EARLY TUESDAY. THE
BEST CHANCE TIME FRAME WILL BE LATE SUNDAY THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT.
MULTIPLE ROUNDS OF SHOWERS AND STRONG STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE AND
MAY RESULT IN LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN. SOME SEVERE STORMS ALSO APPEAR
LIKELY IN THIS TIME FRAME. HOWEVER...CONFIDENCE IN TIMING AND STORM
MODE ARE LOW TO MODERATE AT BEST RIGHT NOW GIVEN THE COMPLEXITY OF
THE FORECAST PATTERN.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION IS EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING.
SPOTTERS MAY BE NEEDED WITH THE SYSTEM MOVING IN SUNDAY AND
MONDAY.
