.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

DANGEROUSLY COLD WIND CHILLS APPROACHING 20 BELOW ZERO ARE
EXPECTED THIS MORNING OVER NORTHERN ILLINOIS.

LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS ARE LIKELY OVER PORTIONS OF NORTHWEST
INDIANA...MAINLY PORTER COUNTY...WITH SOME ACCUMULATION POSSIBLE.

ICE JAMS ARE POSSIBLE ON AREA RIVERS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

SEVERAL INCHES OF ACCUMULATING SNOW ARE POSSIBLE AREA WIDE SUNDAY
AND SUNDAY EVENING. GUSTY WINDS MAY RESULT IN BLOWING AND DRIFTING
SNOW WHICH COULD LEAD TO DIFFICULT TRAVEL IN SOME AREAS.

COLD WEATHER MAY LEAD TO ICE JAMS AND LOCALIZED ICE JAM FLOODING
ON AREA RIVERS.
