1125 AM MST SAT DEC 20 2014

.ABUNDANT PACIFIC MOISTURE WILL MOVE INTO SOUTHEAST IDAHO TODAY
AND HEAVY SNOW IS EXPECTED AT HIGH ELEVATIONS IN THE CENTRAL
MOUNTAINS AND EASTERN HIGHLANDS. HIGHEST SNOW AMOUNTS ARE
EXPECTED TO BE ABOVE 7000 FEET AS THIS WILL BE A WARM SYSTEM.
2 TO 6 INCHES ARE EXPECTED AT 5 TO 6 THOUSAND FEET WITH OVER
6 INCHES POSSIBLE ABOVE 6 THOUSAND FEET AND OVER A FOOT MAY FALL
ABOVE 7000 FEET. ANYONE TRAVELING IN THE SOUTHEAST IDAHO
MOUNTAINS SATURDAY EVENING THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT CAN EXPECT
DIFFICULT DRIVING CONDITIONS ESPECIALLY OVER PASSES.

5 AM MST MONDAY ABOVE 7500 FEET...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN POCATELLO HAS ISSUED A WINTER
STORM WARNING ABOVE 7500 FEET FOR HEAVY SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW
...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 5 AM MST
MONDAY. THE WINTER STORM WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

* TIMING...5 PM TODAY THROUGH 5 AM MONDAY.

* MAIN IMPACT...6 TO 10 INCHES OF SNOW ABOVE 6000 FEET WITH AROUND
  A FOOT POSSIBLE ABOVE 7500 FEET.

* LOCATIONS INCLUDE...DRIGGS...ISLAND PARK...MONIDA PASS...
  ASHTON HILL...TARGHEE PASS...PINE CREEK PASS...FISH CREEK
  SUMMIT... GEORGETOWN SUMMIT.

* OTHER IMPACTS...BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW WITH LOW
  VISIBILITIES POSSIBLE ON SUNDAY.

A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW MEANS SEVERE WINTER WEATHER
CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED OR OCCURRING. SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF SNOW
ARE FORECAST THAT WILL MAKE TRAVEL DANGEROUS. ONLY TRAVEL IN AN
