.WINTER WEATHER TO RETURN TO THE MOUNTAINS AGAIN THIS WEEKEND...

PACIFIC MOISTURE WILL STREAM INTO CENTRAL IDAHO TONIGHT THROUGH
SATURDAY NIGHT BRINGING SNOW TO THE MOUNTAINS. THE HEAVIEST SNOW
IS EXPECTED TO FALL IN THE CENTRAL MOUNTAINS WHERE THE MOISTURE
STREAM INTERACTS WITH THE HIGHER TERRAIN. WARM TEMPERATURES WILL
KEEP THE HEAVIEST SNOWFALL ABOVE 7000 FEET...WHERE 5 TO 10 INCHES
IS EXPECTED. THE SNOW IN THE CENTRAL MOUNTAINS IS EXPECTED TO
TAPER OFF BY SUNDAY MORNING. STRONG WINDS AT HIGHER ELEVATIONS
MAY RESULT IN BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.

WEATHER ADVISORY ABOVE 6500 FEET FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT
FROM 6 AM SATURDAY TO 6 AM MST SUNDAY.

* TIMING...SNOW DEVELOPING LATE TONIGHT AND INTENSIFYING DURING
  THE DAY SATURDAY. HEAVIEST AMOUNTS SATURDAY EVENING.

* MAIN IMPACT...SNOW WILL CREATE HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS.

* LOCATIONS INCLUDE...PINE CREEK PASS BETWEEN SWAN VALLEY AND
  VICTOR...THE TETON VALLEY...TARGHEE PASS ON U S ROUTE
  20...RAYNOLDS PASS ON STATE ROUTE 87...AND TETON PASS ON IDAHO
  STATE ROUTE 33/WYOMING STATE ROUTE 22.
