THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EASTERN IDAHO.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

EXPECT 2 TO 4 INCHES OF SNOW ABOVE 7000 FEET FOR THE CENTRAL
MOUNTAINS INCLUDING THE SAWTOOTHS AND THE NORTHERN LITTLE AND BIG
WOOD REGION. THOSE TRAVELING OVER GALENA SUMMIT...PLEASE TRAVEL
WITH CAUTION. EXPECT AROUND 1 INCH OF SNOW FOR THE UPPER SNAKE
HIGHLANDS LATER TODAY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

EXPECT AN ADDITIONAL 3 TO 6 INCHES OF SNOW FOR THE CENTRAL
MOUNTAINS ABOVE 7000 FEET FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY. EXPECT 4 TO 8
INCHES OF SNOW ABOVE 7000 FEET IN MOUNTAINS ELSEWHERE IN OUR AREA
FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY.

RAINFALL BELOW 7000 FEET WILL RANGE FROM AROUND .25 TO .5 INCHES
WITH LOCALIZED HEAVIER AMOUNTS MAINLY FRIDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

RAIN ON SNOW COULD CAUSE LOCALIZED FLOODING OF SMALL STREAMS AND
RIVERS. THE NORTHERN CENTRAL MOUNTAINS...UPPER SNAKE
HIGHLANDS...CARIBOU HIGHLANDS AND BEAR LAKE REGION ARE AREAS TO
WATCH FOR POSSIBLE MINOR FLOODING FRIDAY AND SATURDAY. COOLER THAN
NORMAL TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECT THROUGH THE PERIOD...PARTICULARLY
ON SATURDAY. OVERALL COOLER TEMPERATURES SHOULD HELP MINIMIZE
FLOODING.
