...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO
9 AM MDT WEDNESDAY FOR LOST TRAIL PASS...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MISSOULA HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW AND FREEZING ICE/SLUSH ON ROADS FOR
LOST TRAIL PASS...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO 9
AM MDT WEDNESDAY.

* IMPACTS/TIMING: A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL STALL OVER THE LOST
  TRAIL PASS AREA THIS EVENING AND PRODUCE SNOW SHOWERS. ROAD
  TEMPERATURES WILL INITIALLY BE ABOVE FREEZING AND CAUSE THE SNOW
  TO MELT OR BECOME SLUSH. TEMPERATURES SHOULD QUICKLY DROP
  THROUGH THE EVENING WITH MUCH OF THE SLUSH/WET ROADWAY QUICKLY
  TURNING TO ICE AND VERY SLICK TRAVEL CONDITIONS. ALSO,
  ADDITIONAL SNOW SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED THROUGH THE EVENING WITH
  ROADS BECOME SNOW COVERED AS WELL.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS: 2 TO 4 INCHES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW...AND
DEVELOPING ICY ROAD CONDITIONS WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE
PREPARED FOR SLIPPERY ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE
CAUTION WHILE DRIVING.

ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 3 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO
MIDNIGHT MDT TONIGHT.

* IMPACTS/TIMING:A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL PASS THROUGH THE AREA
  THIS AFTERNOON CAUSING STRONG WINDS ALONG HIGHWAY 28 FROM LONE
  PINE THROUGH GILMORE SUMMIT AND LEMHI WHICH MAY CAUSE
  DIFFICULTIES FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES.

* WINDS: AFTERNOON WINDS OF 30 MPH WITH REGULAR GUSTS OVER 40 MPH.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...BANNOCK PASS...HIGHWAY 28 TENDOY TO
  LONE PINE...HIGHWAY 93 LOST TRAIL PASS TO GIBBONSVILLE... LEMHI
  PASS

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT WINDS OF 35 MPH ARE EXPECTED. WINDS
THIS STRONG CAN MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT...ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH
PROFILE VEHICLES. USE EXTRA CAUTION.
