SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS OVER NORTHEAST WASHINGTON AND NORTH IDAHO
ARE MOVING SOUTH AT 25 MPH. THESE SHOWERS WILL PRODUCE BRIEF BUT
LOCALLY HEAVY SNOW RATES. LOCATIONS TO BE IMPACTED INCLUDE PRIEST
RIVER...USK...COLVILLE...COOLIN...METALINE FALLS...AND
CHEWELAH...DEER PARK...AND THE SPOKANE AND AIRWAY HEIGHTS AREA. MOST
OF THE SNOW WILL INITIALLY MELT ON THE NEARBY HIGHWAYS...INCLUDING
2 AND 395...BUT SOME MAY ACCUMULATE UNDER ESPECIALLY HEAVY
SHOWERS. SNOW WILL ALSO ACCUMULATE ON LESSER TRAVELED ROADS AND
SIDEWALKS. ANY LINGERING PARTIALLY MELTED ACCUMULATIONS MAY
REFREEZE TONIGHT AND CAUSE SLICK CONDITIONS.
