AHEAD OF A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM. ALTHOUGH PRECIPITATION AMOUNTS
WILL BE ON THE LIGHT SIDE...LIGHT FREEZING RAIN...SLEET...AND SNOW
MAY DISRUPT EARLY MORNING TRAVEL OVER SOUTHERN IOWA...WITH SNOW

MORNING...

* SHORT TERM TRENDS...LIGHT FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET WILL CONTINUE
  ACROSS SOUTHERN AND SOUTHEASTERN IOWA...LIFTING NORTH THROUGH
  THE EARLY MORNING. ALONG AND NORTH OF INTERSTATE 80 SNOW WILL
  ALSO BE POSSIBLE.

* STORM TOTAL SNOW/ICE ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE
  LESS THAN AN INCH. ICE ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE MINOR...WITH A FEW
  HUNDREDTHS OF AN INCH POSSIBLE.

* IMPACTS...ALTHOUGH ONLY MINOR ICE AND SNOW ACCUMULATIONS ARE
  ANTICIPATED...THE WINTRY MIX WILL PRODUCE HAZARDOUS TRAVEL
  EARLY TUESDAY...INCLUDING THE MORNING COMMUTE. UNTREATED
  SURFACES MAY BECOME ICY.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW...SLEET...OR
FREEZING RAIN WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR
SLIPPERY ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE
