SPREADING AREAS OF HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS SOUTHEAST GEORGIA AND
SOUTHEASTERN SOUTH CAROLINA. THE RAIN IS EXPECTED TO BE COINCIDENT
WITH SIGNIFICANT ASTRONOMICAL TIDES LATER THIS EVENING PRODUCING
A REDUCED RUNOFF POTENTIAL ALONG IMMEDIATE COASTAL AREAS.

* FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST GEORGIA AND
  SOUTHEAST SOUTH CAROLINA...INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS...IN
  SOUTHEAST GEORGIA...COASTAL BRYAN...COASTAL CHATHAM...COASTAL
  LIBERTY...COASTAL MCINTOSH...EVANS...INLAND BRYAN...INLAND
  CHATHAM...INLAND LIBERTY...INLAND MCINTOSH...LONG AND
  TATTNALL. IN SOUTHEAST SOUTH CAROLINA...BEAUFORT...
  CHARLESTON...COASTAL COLLETON AND COASTAL JASPER.

* FROM 2 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH LATE TONIGHT

* WIDESPREAD RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 2 TO 3 INCHES WITH AREAS OF 4
  INCHES OR POSSIBLE. RAINS WILL BE STEADY OR INCREASING LEADING
  INTO THE HIGH TIDE CYCLE THIS EVENING AFTER 9 PM.

* FLOODING COULD OCCUR QUICKLY...ESPECIALLY IN LOW-LYING AND POOR
  DRAINAGE AREAS. DRIVING COULD BECOME HAZARDOUS AS SOME AREA
  ROADWAYS COULD BECOME IMPASSABLE DUE TO HIGH WATER...ESPECIALLY
  IN URBAN AREAS LIKE DOWNTOWN CHARLESTON AND SAVANNAH AROUND THE
  TIME OF HIGH TIDE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

BE PREPARED TO PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY...ESPECIALLY IN AREAS
PRONE TO FLOODING. IF FLOODING DEVELOPS...MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND
IMMEDIATELY. IF DRIVING...BE PREPARED FOR FLOODED ROADWAYS AND
POSSIBLE ROAD CLOSURES.
