THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

A SLIGHT CHANCE OF AFTERNOON AND EVENING THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE
NORTHEAST MOUNTAINS.

INCREASING ATLANTIC MOISTURE COMBINED WITH UPSLOPE FLOW WILL
BRING A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS TO THE NORTHEAST MOUNTAINS
THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING. INSTABILITIES WILL BE
LOW...THEREFORE SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...
THERE IS A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS...MAINLY OVER THE EASTERN
SECTIONS OF NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA THROUGH MONDAY AS TROPICAL
MOISTURE SPREADS ACROSS THE REGION. INSTABILITIES WILL REMAIN LOW
THROUGH SUNDAY...THEREFORE SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED.
HOWEVER ON MONDAY INSTABILITY WILL INCREASE AND THIS COULD PRODUCE
A FEW STRONG STORMS WITH GUSTY WINDS.

...The flood warning continues for the following rivers in Georgia...

  Altamaha River At Baxley affecting Appling...Tattnall...Toombs and
  Wayne Counties

  Altamaha River At Everett City affecting Glynn...McIntosh and
  Wayne Counties

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

All persons with interest along the river should monitor the latest
forecasts...And be prepared to take necessary precautions to protect
life and property. Do not drive cars through flooded areas. If you
see flood waters...Remember to turn around and do not drown.

continues for
  The Altamaha River At Baxley.
* until Wednesday evening...Or until the warning is cancelled.
* At  8:45 PM Monday the stage was 75.9 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 74.5 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
  Wednesday early afternoon.
* Impact...At 74.5 feet...Minor flooding of timber and agricultural
  land can be expected.
