THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON
AND EVENING ACROSS MAINLY EXTREME EAST AND SOUTHEAST PORTIONS OF
THE AREA. A FEW STORMS COULD BE STRONG WITH GUSTY WINDS AND
FREQUENT LIGHTNING. LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN WITH BRIEF LOCALIZED
FLOODING WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...

THERE IS A CHANCE OF MAINLY AFTERNOON AND EVENING THUNDERSTORMS
ACROSS PARTS OF NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA THROUGH FRIDAY. ANY
STORM THAT DEVELOPS WILL HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE STRONG
GUSTY WINDS... LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING.

THE CURRENT FORECAST TRACK OF TROPICAL DEPRESSION NINE BRINGS THE
SYSTEM SLIGHTLY FURTHER NORTH IMPACTING MAINLY NORTH FLORIDA AND
EXTREME SOUTHEAST GEORGIA LATE THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY AS A
TROPICAL STORM. WITH THIS NEW TRACK...STRONG WINDS OF 30 TO 40 MPH
ARE NOW POSSIBLE ACROSS PORTIONS OF TELFAIR WHEELER MONTGOMERY AND
TOOMBS COUNTIES WHILE IMPACTS ELSEWHERE WOULD BE MINIMAL UNDER
THIS SCENARIO. ANY SMALL SHIFT NORTHWARD IN THE TRACK HOWEVER COULD
INCREASE IMPACTS AND AREAL EXTENT EXTENSIVELY. WE ENCOURAGE
EVERYONE TO STAY TUNED TO UPDATES ON THIS DEVELOPING SYSTEM.
