AT 735 AM EDT...THE PARK RANGER AT THE BILL BAGGS FLORIDA STATE PARK
REPORTED WATER UP TO THE CURB COVERING THE ROADWAYS DUE TO
THUNDERSTORMS. UP TO 3.25 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN IN THE ADVISED
AREA.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE ELEVATED LEVELS ON
SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS...AND PONDING OF WATER IN URBAN AREAS...
HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND UNDERPASSES AS WELL AS OTHER POOR DRAINAGE
AREAS AND LOW LYING SPOTS.

...TORNADO WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH 10 AM FOR SOUTHEAST FLORIDA...

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTH FLORIDA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

THUNDERSTORMS: A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE EASTWARD
ACROSS THE EAST COAST AND METRO LOCATIONS AND THE ADJACENT MARINE
WATERS OF SOUTH FLORIDA THROUGH THE EARLY MORNING HOURS. STRONG
TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE ALONG THIS
LINE...WHICH CONTINUE TO PRODUCE FREQUENT TO CONTINUOUS LIGHTNING
AND GUSTY WINDS RANGING FROM 45 TO 60 MPH.

WIND: WIND GUSTS UP TO 61 MPH HAVE ALREADY BEEN RECORDED THIS
MORNING IN THE CORAL GABLES AND COCONUT GROVE AREA. THIS POTENTIAL
WILL EXIST THROUGH THE MID-MORNING HOURS BEFORE THE THREAT
DIMINISHES.

TORNADOES: A TORNADO CANNOT BE RULED OUT THROUGH THE MID-MORNING
HOURS. THIS RISK IS LOW.

WATERSPOUTS: THERE IS A SLIGHT POTENTIAL FOR WATERSPOUT FORMATION
OVER THE ADJACENT ATLANTIC COASTAL WATERS THIS MORNING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

SEAS ARE FORECAST TO BECOME HAZARDOUS FOR SMALL CRAFT IN THE
GULF STREAM SUNDAY NIGHT INTO MONDAY.

SPOTTERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO CALL IN ANY REPORTS REGARDING
TORNADOES, WIND DAMAGE AND FLOODING TO THE NWS IN MIAMI THROUGH
