FROM SHORE...WHICH OCCUR MOST OFTEN AT LOW SPOTS OR BREAKS IN THE
SANDBAR AND IN THE VICINITY OF STRUCTURES SUCH AS GROINS...
JETTIES AND PIERS. HEED THE ADVICE OF LIFEGUARDS...BEACH PATROL
FLAGS AND SIGNS.

IF YOU BECOME CAUGHT IN A RIP CURRENT...YELL FOR HELP. REMAIN
CALM...DO NOT EXHAUST YOURSELF AND STAY AFLOAT WHILE WAITING FOR
HELP. IF YOU HAVE TO SWIM OUT OF A RIP CURRENT...SWIM PARALLEL TO
SHORE AND BACK TOWARD THE BEACH WHEN POSSIBLE. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO
SWIM DIRECTLY AGAINST A RIP CURRENT AS YOU WILL TIRE QUICKLY.

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTH FLORIDA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

RIP CURRENTS: THERE IS A HIGH RISK FOR RIP CURRENTS ALONG THE
EAST COAST BEACHES.

WAVES: SEAS 4 TO 6 FEET WITH OCCASIONAL HIGHER SEAS OVER THE
ATLANTIC AND GULF STREAM WATERS TODAY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

MODERATE RIP CURRENTS WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE ALONG THE ATLANTIC
BEACHES INTO MONDAY.

WINDS AND SEAS MAY REACH OR NEAR ADVISORY LEVELS OVER THE
PALM BEACH WATERS ON TUESDAY. LARGE SEAS IN THE WAKE OF A COLD
FRONT THURSDAY NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY WILL BE POSSIBLE OVER THE
ATLANTIC WATERS. HOWEVER, CONFIDENCE REMAINS LOW AT THIS TIME.
