THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTH FLORIDA.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

THUNDERSTORMS: SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP ACROSS SOUTH
FLORIDA AND ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING.
THE STRONGEST THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING FREQUENT
LIGHTNING, GUSTY WINDS, AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.

WATERSPOUTS: WATERSPOUTS WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE COASTAL
WATERS ADJACENT TO SOUTH FLORIDA INCLUDING LAKE OKEECHOBEE.

WIND: THE STRONGEST THUNDERSTORMS MAY PRODUCE A BRIEF PERIOD OF
GUSTY WINDS OF 40 TO 50 MPH.

FLOODING: THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING WILL BE SLOW
MOVING, SO PONDING OF WATER ON ROADWAYS AND AREAS OF POOR DRAINAGE
WILL BE POSSIBLE.

TEMPERATURES: HEAT INDEX VALUES OF 100 TO 104 DEGREES ARE
EXPECTED ACROSS ALL OF SOUTH FLORIDA THIS AFTERNOON. HIGHEST HEAT
INDICES OF 104 TO 107 ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS PARTS OF INTERIOR SOUTH
FLORIDA.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE MAINLY OVER THE INTERIOR AND
WESTERN SECTIONS OF SOUTH FLORIDA THIS WEEKEND AND INTO NEXT WEEK.
FREQUENT LIGHTNING IS THE PRIMARY THREAT.

BROWARD AND PALM BEACH COUNTIES. SOME OF THESE STORMS COULD BE
SLOW-MOVING AND PRODUCE LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL, LIGHTNING AND
BRIEF WIND GUSTS TO 40 MPH.
