THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR WEST CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST
FLORIDA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

...THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE ACROSS THE REGION TODAY AND
TONIGHT AHEAD OF AN APPROACHING COLD FRONT. THUNDERSTORMS THAT
DEVELOP WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING STRONG GUSTY WINDS...LOCALLY
HEAVY RAINS...AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING STRIKES. ISOLATED STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS CANNOT BE RULED OUT THIS AFTERNOON AND
EVENING...MAINLY FROM THE INTERSTATE 75 CORRIDOR EASTWARD.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

...RIP CURRENT IMPACT...
GUST NORTHWESTERLY WINDS WILL ARRIVE ON THE HEELS OF A STRONG COLD
FRONT FRIDAY NIGHT AND SATURDAY. THIS WILL CAUSE ROUGH SURF
CONDITIONS RESULTING IN DANGEROUS RIP CURRENTS ALONG AREA BEACHES.

...MARINE IMPACTS...
A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH THE WATERS FRIDAY NIGHT WITH
INCREASING WINDS AND SEAS BEHIND IT. NORTHWEST WINDS ARE FORECAST
TO INCREASE TO 20 TO 25 KNOTS WITH SEAS BUILDING TO 10 FEET BY
SATURDAY MORNING.
