THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTH FLORIDA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

RIP CURRENTS: THERE IS A HIGH RISK OF RIP CURRENTS ALONG THE
ATLANTIC BEACHES OF PALM BEACH, BROWARD, AND MIAMI DADE COUNTIES
DUE TO STRONG ONSHORE WINDS AND A CONTINUING SMALL NORTHEAST
SWELL.

THUNDERSTORMS: THERE WILL BE AN INCREASING CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS
ACROSS THE REGION, BUT MAINLY EXPECTED LATER THIS EVENING AND OVER
NIGHT. THE MAIN THREATS WILL BE CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING AND
LOCALLY GUSTY WINDS.

WIND: WINDS TO NEAR 20 KNOTS OR JUST ABOVE ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE
GULF AND ATLANTIC WATERS TODAY AND TONIGHT, BUT MAINLY ACROSS THE
OFF SHORE WATERS.

WAVES: HAZARDOUS SEAS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE
ATLANTIC WATERS AND THE GULF STREAM WITH SEAS TO NEAR 7 FEET TODAY
AND TO NEAR 8 FEET POSSIBLE TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

A HIGH RISK OF DANGEROUS RIP CURRENTS WILL CONTINUE ALONG THE
ATLANTIC BEACHES ON TUESDAY.

HAZARDOUS SEAS ARE FORECAST ACROSS THE ATLANTIC AND GULF STREAM
WATERS TUESDAY.

THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR LOCALIZED FLOODING RAINFALL ACROSS
SOUTHEAST FLORIDA TUESDAY AS A SURFACE TROUGH MOVES NORTHWARD
ACROSS THE AREA.
