.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

THUNDERSTORMS WITH LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AND FREQUENT CLOUD TO
GROUND LIGHTNING CAN BE EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON AND THIS
EVENING. THE HIGHEST LIKELIHOOD OF STORMS WILL BE WEST OF THE
SAINT JOHNS RIVER AND INTERSTATE 95.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...

SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND STORMS ARE EXPECTED EACH
AFTERNOON AND EVENING. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AND FREQUENT
LIGHTNING ARE THE MAIN CONCERNS.

  SOUTH CENTRAL MARION COUNTY IN NORTHERN FLORIDA...

* UNTIL 845 PM EDT

* AT 644 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN DUE TO
  THUNDERSTORMS. THIS WILL CAUSE MINOR FLOODING IN THE ADVISORY
  AREA. UP TO TWO INCHES OF RAIN HAVE ALREADY FALLEN ON RECENTLY
  SATURATED GROUNDS. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF 1 TO 2 INCHES IS
  POSSIBLE.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
  LAKE WEIR...BELLEVIEW AND SUMMERFIELD.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...AS WELL AS FARM AND COUNTRY ROADS. DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO TRAVEL ACROSS FLOODED ROADS. FIND ALTERNATE ROUTES.
