WITH AN ELEVATED RIP CURRENT RISK EXPECTED THROUGH THE WEEKEND...

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHEAST FLORIDA...
SOUTHEAST GEORGIA AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

STRENGTHENING NORTH TO NORTHEAST WINDS WILL CREATE A MODERATE RISK
OF RIP CURRENTS AT AREA BEACHES THIS AFTERNOON. SMALL CRAFT
ADVISORIES ARE POSTED BEGINNING THIS AFTERNOON FOR THE COASTAL
WATERS. BREEZY TO OCCASIONALLY WINDY CONDITIONS WILL PREVAIL IN
THE COASTAL COUNTIES TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...

LOCAL NOR`EASTER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED SATURDAY...AS STRONG HIGH
PRESSURE EXPANDS SOUTHWARD ALONG THE EASTERN SEABOARD. WIND
ADVISORIES MAY BE REQUIRED FOR THE COASTAL COUNTIES...AS SUSTAINED
WIND SPEEDS APPROACH 25 MPH...WITH GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH POSSIBLE AT
THE COAST. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL IS POSSIBLE ALONG PORTIONS OF
THE NORTHEAST FLORIDA COAST ON SATURDAY AND SATURDAY EVENING.

SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH AT LEAST
SATURDAY NIGHT IN THE NEAR SHORE COASTAL WATERS...AND LIKELY
THROUGH SUNDAY IN THE OFFSHORE WATERS. A HIGH SURF ADVISORY MAY BE
REQUIRED ON SATURDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT. A HIGH RISK OF RIP
CURRENTS IS EXPECTED ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. WINDS AND SEAS WILL
DIMINISH EARLY NEXT WEEK.
