...The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Florida...

  Steinhatchee River near Steinhatchee (US 19) affecting Dixie and
  Taylor Counties

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

All persons with interest along the river should monitor the latest
forecasts, and be prepared to take necessary precautions to protect
life and property. Do not drive cars through flooded areas. If you
see flood waters: Turn around. Don`t drown.

For graphical hydrologic information, please go to weather.gov and
click on your state. Select Rivers and Lakes AHPS under current
conditions and click on your river point.

The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has issued a

* Flood Warning for the Steinhatchee River near Steinhatchee (US 19).
* From this evening, or until the warning is cancelled.
* At  9:45 PM Saturday the stage was 12.1 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 12.2 feet.
* Forecast: Rise above flood stage before midnight and continue to rise
  to near 15.2 feet by Monday morning.
* Impact: At 12.2 feet water begins to flood downstream at Steinhatchee
  Falls Park. Minor flooding of roads begins along River Road NE. Water
  will begin to encroach onto the yards of residences in the Ancient Oaks
  Community in Steinhatchee.

.UNUSUALLY MOIST AIR...AHEAD OF A STATIONARY FRONT IN THE FLORIDA
PANHANDLE AND SOUTHEAST ALABAMA...WILL CONTINUE TO BRING VERY HEAVY
RAIN TO PORTIONS OF THE WATCH AREA THROUGH SUNDAY. FLOODING
HAS ALREADY BEEN REPORTED DURING THE DAY SATURDAY ACROSS PORTIONS
OF THE WATCH AREA.

  IN FLORIDA...DIXIE...JEFFERSON...TAYLOR...MADISON...AND
  LAFAYETTE COUNTIES.

* THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING

* FLOODING WAS ALREADY OCCURRING IN PORTIONS OF TAYLOR AND DIXIE
  COUNTIES...WHERE RAINFALL TOTALS DURING THE DAY ON SATURDAY REACHED
  4 TO 6 INCHES. ADDITIONAL AMOUNTS OF 6 INCHES OR MORE ARE LIKELY
  TONIGHT AND SUNDAY...BRINGING STORM TOTALS...SINCE FRIDAY...ABOVE
  ONE FOOT IN SOME AREAS. FLASH FLOODING WILL REMAIN A THREAT THROUGH
  SUNDAY EVENING.

* EVEN WHERE FLASH FLOODING DOES NOT OCCUR...THERE MAY STILL BE
  AREAS OF STANDING WATER IN LOW LYING AND POOR DRAINAGE AREAS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION
SHOULD FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS BE ISSUED. AVOID DRIVING THROUGH FLOODED
ROADS. AS A PRECAUTION...PARK VEHICLES ON HIGHER GROUND.

  NORTHWESTERN DIXIE COUNTY IN THE BIG BEND OF FLORIDA...
  SOUTHEASTERN TAYLOR COUNTY IN THE BIG BEND OF FLORIDA...

* UNTIL 1100 PM EDT

* AT 756 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A NEARLY STATIONARY BAND OF
  SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORM PRODUCING HEAVY RAIN ACROSS THE WARNED AREA.
  THREE TO FIVE INCHES OF RAIN HAVE ALREADY FALLEN SINCE 5 PM EDT...AND
  ADDITIONAL AMOUNTS OF UP TO ONE INCH ARE POSSIBLE THIS EVENING...WITH
  MORE EXPECTED LATER TONIGHT. THERE HAVE ALREADY BEEN REPORTS OF FLOODING BY
  THE PUBLIC AND LAW ENFORCEMENT.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
  STEINHATCHEE...TENNILLE...HINES...JENA...JONESBORO AND CLARA.

MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND NOW. ACT QUICKLY TO PROTECT YOUR LIFE. AVOID DRIVING THROUGH
