THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL...EAST
CENTRAL...SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST COLORADO.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

SNOW...HEAVY AT TIMES...WILL FALL ALONG THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE
THROUGH TONIGHT. SIGNIFICANT ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED OVER LAKE
AND WESTERN CHAFFEE COUNTIES WITH SEVERAL INCHES OF ACCUMULATION
OVER WESTERN AND NORTHERN SAGUACHE COUNTY. LIGHTER ACCUMULATIONS
ARE EXPECTED OVER CENTRAL AND EASTERN CHAFFEE COUNTY...SOUTHERN
AND EASTERN SAGUACHE COUNTY AND THE EASTERN SAN JUAN MOUNTAINS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

HEAVY...WIND DRIVEN SNOW WILL PRODUCE DANGEROUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS
ACROSS THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE INTO MONDAY EVENING. STORM TOTAL
ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 2 FEET ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE HIGHER TERRAIN
OF THE EASTERN SAWATCH AND WESTERN MOSQUITO RANGES. ELSEWHERE
ALONG THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE...INCLUDING THE LOWER ELEVATIONS OF
LAKE COUNTY...SNOWFALL TOTALS OF 5 TO 10 INCHES OR MORE ARE
EXPECTED.

AREAS OF WIND DRIVEN SNOW ARE POSSIBLE OVER THE EASTERN MOUNTAINS
AND PLAINS MONDAY AND MONDAY NIGHT. HOWEVER...ANY ACCUMULATIONS IN
THESE AREAS WILL GENERALLY BE LIGHT.

NORTHERLY WINDS 20 TO 35 GUSTING TO 50 MPH ARE EXPECTED ACROSS
THE EASTERN MOUNTAINS AND PLAINS ON TUESDAY. AREAS OF WIND DRIVEN
SNOW SHOWERS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE ACROSS THE EAST ON TUESDAY.

FOR CHRISTMAS DAY AND NIGHT...ANOTHER WEATHER SYSTEM WILL BRING
A CHANCE OF LIGHT SNOW TO THE AREA. HOWEVER...FORECAST CONFIDENCE
REMAINS LOW AS THE TRACK OF THE WEATHER SYSTEM IS STILL UNCERTAIN.
