THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL...EAST
CENTRAL...SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST COLORADO.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED RAIN SHOWERS AND MOUNTAIN SNOW SHOWERS CAN BE
EXPECTED ACROSS THE AREA THIS EVENING...WITH THE BEST COVERAGE OF
SHOWERS OVER AND NEAR THE HIGHER TERRAIN. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS ARE
EXPECTED TO BE LIGHT AND SPOTTY...THOUGH A QUICK INCH OR TWO OF
SNOW CAN NOT BE RULED OUT OVER THE HIGHEST TERRAIN UNDER THE
STRONGEST STORMS.

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE OVER THE PALMER
DIVIDE AND SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 50 THIS EVENING...WITH LIGHTNING...GUSTY
WINDS UP TO 40 MPH AND PEA SIZE HAIL BEING THE MAIN STORM
THREATS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

THERE WILL BE A CHANCE FOR ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS EACH DAY FROM
TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...MAINLY IN THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING
HOURS. THE MAIN THREATS FROM STORMS WILL BE LIGHTING AND WIND
GUSTS TO 40 MPH.

WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON...A FEW STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS WILL BE
POSSIBLE OVER THE EASTERN PLAINS...PARTICULARLY IN
BACA...PROWERS...AND KIOWA COUNTIES. HAIL TO ONE INCH AND WIND
GUSTS TO 60 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THESE STORMS.
SEVERE STORMS MAY ALSO BE POSSIBLE THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND
EVENING CLOSE TO THE KANSAS BORDER.

LOCAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF UP TO A FEW INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE
FOR ELEVATIONS GENERALLY ABOVE 9000 FEET EACH DAY. SNOW SHOWERS
AND ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL BE MOST WIDESPREAD THURSDAY NIGHT INTO
FRIDAY...AS A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVES THROUGH COLORADO.

WEATHER CONDITIONS THAT MEET REPORTING CRITERIA FOR SPOTTERS WILL BE
POSSIBLE OVER THE HIGHER TERRAIN TONIGHT.
