THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EASTERN UTAH AND WESTERN
COLORADO.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

PRECIPITATION WILL CONTINUE TO TRACK NORTHWARD TODAY BRINGING SNOW
TO THE MOUNTAINS AND A RAIN SNOW MIX TO THE VALLEYS. MANY
WINTER WEATHER HIGHLIGHTS HAVE BEEN ISSUED FOR THIS STORM. SNOW WILL
CONTINUE THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT THOUGH THERE WILL BE LULLS FROM
TIME TO TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

PRECIPITATION WILL CONTINUE THROUGH WEDNESDAY WITH SEVERAL FEET OF
SNOW POSSIBLE FOR THE SAN JUANS AND CENTRAL AND NORTHERN
MOUNTAINS. SOUTHERN VALLEYS WILL ALSO LIKELY SEE HEAVY SNOWFALL. A
STRONG COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH TUESDAY BRINGING MUCH COLDER
TEMPERATURES TO THE REGION BEFORE WARMING UP TOWARDS THE END OF
THE WEEK.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION IS NOT EXPECTED TODAY OR TONIGHT...HOWEVER
SPOTTERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO REPORT SNOWFALL AMOUNTS TO THE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GRAND JUNCTION.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM MST
MONDAY ABOVE 6000 FEET...

* LOCATIONS INCLUDE THE CITIES OF...CORTEZ...DOVE CREEK...MANCOS.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL BEGIN TO ACCUMULATE THIS MORNING AND
  CONTINUE THROUGH MONDAY EVENING.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION...2 TO 4 INCHES ARE EXPECTED EACH NIGHT...
  FOR A STORM TOTAL OF 8 TO 16 INCHES WITH LESSER AMOUNTS BELOW
  6000 FEET.

* SNOW LEVELS...MAY SEE RAIN OR A RAIN SNOW MIX IN THE
  AFTERNOONS ESPECIALLY BELOW 6000 FEET.

* WINDS...SOUTHWEST 10 TO 20 MPH POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON AND
  EVENING.

* VISIBILITY...RESTRICTED AT TIMES IN HEAVY SNOW.

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL IS EXPECTED TO BE DIFFICULT THIS WEEKEND INTO
  TUESDAY.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW AND/OR
BLOWING SNOW WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR

DRIVING.
