THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EASTERN UTAH AND WESTERN
COLORADO.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL INCREASE IN COVERAGE THIS
AFTERNOON AND EVENING. GUSTY WINDS TO 40 MPH ARE POSSIBLE AT THE
ONSET OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. SMALL HAIL AND HEAVY RAIN WITH
LOCALIZED FLOODING WILL ACCOMPANY THE STRONGER STORMS.

ANOTHER SURGE OF MOISTURE IS EXPECTED OVERNIGHT OVER ALREADY
SATURATED SOILS FOR SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF THE FORECAST AREA. SOME
AREAS EXPERIENCED LOCALIZED FLOODING SATURDAY NIGHT AND WITH THE
CHANCE REMAINING AGAIN TONIGHT...A FLASH FLOOD WATCH HAS BEEN
ISSUED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL DIMINISH FROM WEST TO EAST DURING
THE DAY ON MONDAY AS DRIER AIR MOVES ACROSS THE AREA. SOME
CONVECTION WILL DEVELOP DURING THE AFTERNOON HOURS BUT WILL BE
CONFINED IN AND NEAR THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE.

THE NEXT THREAT OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP ON
FRIDAY AND CONTINUE THROUGH THE WEEKEND AS THE NEXT PACIFIC STORM
SYSTEM APPROACHES.

SPOTTER ACTIVATION IS NOT EXPECTED TODAY OR TONIGHT...HOWEVER
SPOTTERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO RELAY RAINFALL AMOUNTS OR ANY OBSERVED
FLOODING TO THE GRAND JUNCTION FORECAST OFFICE.
