THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GRAND JUNCTION HAS CANCELLED THE
BLIZZARD WARNING.

* LOCATIONS INCLUDE THE CITIES OF...CRESTED BUTTE...TAYLOR PARK...
  MARBLE.

* TIMING...LIGHT SNOWFALL THIS MORNING BECOMES HEAVY THIS
  AFTERNOON.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION...ADDITIONAL 3 TO 5 INCHES.

* WINDS...WEST 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 45 MPH.

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL IS EXPECTED TO BE DIFFICULT THIS AFTERNOON.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER STORM WARNING MEANS SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF SNOW ARE
EXPECTED OR OCCURRING. STRONG WINDS AND BLOWING SNOW ARE ALSO
POSSIBLE. THIS WILL MAKE TRAVEL VERY HAZARDOUS OR IMPOSSIBLE.

...AVALANCHE WARNING EXTENDED FOR THE SOUTHERN SAN JUAN AND NORTHERN
SAN JUAN MOUNTAINS, THE RUBY RANGE, AND THE WEST ELK MOUNTAINS...

ANOTHER FOOT OF SNOW ALONG WITH STRONG WIND IS EXPECTED OVERNIGHT.
THIS WILL KEEP THE AVALANCHE DANGER ELEVATED THROUGH TOMORROW
MORNING. NATURAL AND HUMAN TRIGGERED AVALANCHES REMAIN LIKELY ON ALL
STEEP SLOPES.

BACKCOUNTRY TRAVEL INTO OR BELOW AVALANCHE TERRAIN IS NOT
RECOMMENDED AT THIS TIME.
